Good: I only liked getting in and taking pictures with the cubs that they have seasonally.. Bad: Everything else. It's dirty, with piles of deer/goat/sheep poo everywhere. The cages are too small! There's no enrichment for the animals, except for the pools in the tiger's cages... I never saw them using it, and it was hot out. Other cages are just poorly made, and have too many animals in them. The Handlers do not know anything about the cats they show, I asked for details. The female chimp was very depressed and had no companionship. Some animals were very sick and emaciated.. Improvements: I want to see building improvements on the enclosures. Larger spaces and more things to do for the cats, foxes and more active animals. No free roaming animals. Hire people with a degree in zoology.. Other: I don't care for this place. I have been to several zoos in Oregon, and it doesn't seem like the owner or the handlers care for the animals that are stuck in cages. The cubs are well taken care of, but that quickly changes as they get older. They are NOT affiliated with the AZA, so I would not support their breeding program. I prefer Big Cats in Cave Junction or the Wildlife Safari in Winston..
