I have dined at countless Japanese restaurants both here and even in Japan. I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Wako Take with my family. I ordered some sushi, including the uni and the scallop sushi which are both very familiar to me. The uni has a strong fishy off-taste. The scallop is likewise with a very mushy texture. I sent both back. The waiter came back to tell me that the items were fresh. Still, I was scared that I might already been food poisoned even from tasting the unfresh sushi so I insisted on not taking back the order. However, the restaurant insisted on billing me for the returned items which left an even worse taste in my mouth. Dine there at your own risk.
