Wagon Trails Resort

I have been a member since 09 and I wish I never leaped into this so blind. I was told the park would be soon putting in a slide park here its 2013 and all we have is new swing sets and the same old indoor pool which is the best part. Every time we go we are surrounded by geese and they poop everywhere and the pond and beach is full of poop you cant even swim there, and now they are adding a 200.00 assessment levied fee that is not the the once a year dues fee of 375.00 which can be raised by 10% each year what a rip off. more

I'm kind shocked about the other review on here because I visited this place last week and my family & I had a blast. We came out for the same promotion and they gave us a great tour (which is free) and the gifts were not cheap at all. If you are big into your family this is a great place to be. Not only is it hard these days to find somewhere to go where it's safe to take your kids, but it's also hard to find a place that is affordable. They have so many free activities it's unheard of, not to mention the accomodations are very nice. I had a hard time getting my kids to leave after the tour was over. Friendly staff & our tour guide was great. Not high pressure at all. With both my husband and I working it's hard to take the kids away as much as we would like but living so close it's a great place to get away for the weekend without worrying about our home. It's nestled right in the coutry which is an enviroment we would like to introduce to our children. I've already recommended this place to most of my friends and family. They called on the phone promising these wonderful gifts for coming out to listen to their sales pitch on a membership deal that I think is ridiculous. The letter they sent us said we would be guanteed two of the following gifts: $1000, or 27"" color flat screen tv, or Sony movie camera, or Sony digital camera, or a vacation trip. The grand prize was a car or cash $25,000. Well we did not fall for the membership scam and everyone got the same two prizes.....a cheap $9.00 off brand digital camera and a pamphet to call some travel bureau if you wanted a vacation scheduled with them. What a scam!! Do not visit this place. Pros: thumbs down Cons: thumbs done more
