WOODY'S MUSIC

Woody's is easily the most popular music store in town. It is a fun place! It is where most of the best musicians go. It also is where most of the budding musicians go because Woody's has the best teachers in town. Woody's is the center of music activity in town. I drop in from time to time just to see what's going on in the local music community. They always seem to have a joke or funny story, too. They're serious musicians, though, and are serious about their community. Woody's is involved in a lot of civic activities and sponsors or supports many local charitable events. The staff at Woody's is very knowledgeable. They are also very friendly, as are the customers. Woody's has great deals on used CDs and DVDs and they will match or beat most internet prices on instruments. I bought a Taylor 414CE $200 cheaper at Woody's than online. Plus, I got to play it before I bought it. Yes, the store is a little cramped and you may have to circle the parking lot for a parking space, as the lot is always full. Visit Woody's a few times, though, and you'll see why the parking lot is always full. more

Woody's Music is not what you are looking for .. trust me. While the location is good, almost everything else is bad about it. the place is very cluttered. It is hard to even walk anywhere without bumping into something. They will buy your items from you, but they give almost nothing for it. I understand the point is to make money, but when it's obvious what you are selling is almost brand new, but they give you nothing for it, and then you come in later to find it priced at 70000000 times (SMILE) more than they gave you, it really is bad business. I won't be going here anymore, as there are other businesses in the area that are much, much better. more

WOODY'S MUSIC IS NOT AS GOOD AS SOME OF THE OTHER MUSIC SHOPS AROUND. THE PLACE IS VERY SMALL AND VERY CLUTTERED. IT IS HARD TO MOVE AROUND WITHOUT BUMPING INTO ANOTHER INSTRUMENT. THEIR PRICES ARE HIGHER THAN MOST PLACES EVEN ON THEIR USED MERCHANDISE. THEY TAKE TRADE IN BUT DON'T GIVE YOU MUCH FOR YOUR INSTRUMENT. THEN THEY SELL IT FOR THREE TIMES WHAT THEY BOUGHT IT FOR. THEY HAVE ON SIGHT REPAIR SERVICES BUT THEY TAKE A LONG TIME AND MOST OF THE TIME IT DOESN'T COME BACK RIGHT. more
