Vito's

We have been in Irving 10 years and loved Vito's from the beginning of discovering it. However over the last 5 years things have changed. The food is excellent! The service has been spot on til the last couple years. We loved going here til the tables became an issue. If you are a party of two expect to have to sit at a table or small booth. This would be ok but when the person behind you , a party of one sits at a large booth I tend to get a little perturbed. It should be first come, first served. Secondly last visit I had a waiter who I could not understand and who really did not want to wait on my guest and I. You will not always make everyone happy but you should try to within reason. Bad service and seating equals my guest and I disappearing along with our monies. The Chicken Marsala is excellent. Not willing to keep trying but I will give a couple more visits. Sad it has come to scrutinizing. more

Great food as always but we got VERY rude service from the wait staff. To top off the lacking service the waiter tried to pocket extra $$ from our out-of-town guest by short changing and trying to hide it by giving a bunch of wadded up ones AND we had to wait around for half an hour for the waiter to cough up the money that he tried to STEAL. Good food but due to service we will never eat at Vitos again and will cancel planned catering. more

Here's the place to get pizza that reminds me of Little Italy in New York.\r \r They also have great stromboli, calzone and pasta plus THEY DELIVER (limited area but I live in it) !!\r \r The portions are huge and if you go away hungry, it's your own fault.\r \r As a 2nd generation Italian-American, I strongly reccomend you try Vito's.\r \r If you live east, west, north or south of this restaurant, IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE!! more

I absolutely love this place! The crust is nice & crisp while the sauce and toppings are always delicious & fresh. The perfect slice of pie. more
