Village Pizza is amazing!! 12/14/2011

Village Pizza is still the best! They just celebrated 40 years and they installed a giant exterior sign that brightens all of Dexter St, it's really something to see. I've met the owner personally (I love their pizza) & I can tell you that the business has not changed ownership. I go there frequently so I can attest that their crew works very hard & their service is definitely above average. I mean they have 30 people working there! Of course every restaurant may have a bad day every once in a great while but I've never been dissappointed. Five stars in my book. more

WHY DID THEY CHANGE OWNERS ! 8/11/2011

VILLAGE PIZZA ALWAYS HAD TOP NOTCH FOOD AND SERVICE. ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO I STOPPED ORDERING BECAUSETHE QUALITY OF THE FOOD WAS POOR AND THE NEW WOMAN MANAGER WAS RUDE. BUT YESTERDAY I DECIDE TO GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE AND FOR WHAT I PAID I GOT A WATERED DOWN SALAD AND BURNT CHICKEN FINGERS THAT TASTED LIKE THEY HAD BEEN SITTING IN OLD GREASE ALL DAY . NORMALLY I WOULD NEVER POST SOMETHING SO NEGATIVE ABOUT A BUSINESS BUT I HAD TO BECAUSE THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!! AND TO TOP IT OFF I HEARD THEY SOLD IT TO NEW PEOPLE NOT TO LONG AGO , SO THERE IS MY ANSWER ! SO SO DISAPPOINTED AND HOPEFULLY YOU WILL NOT GET THE WOMEN THAT MANAGES THE STORE SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ! more

I just discovered the best pizzeria in RI! 7/17/2011

I just moved to RI from the west coast due to my job relocation. All the employees at my company were raving about Village Pizza so I decided to order delivery last night. Hands down the best pizza I've ever tasted. The Hawaiian Twist pizza..... yummmyy!! I even ordered it online & spent 15 minutes looking at all their food. It all looks amazing. If Village Pizza ever expands to San Diego they will be a huge success. Leaps & bounds over the competition. Bravo! more

The best pizza with really fast delivery! 2/22/2009

Simply put, the oldest and the best. A landmark in the RI pizza industry. Unbelievable topping portions and amazing crust! The sauce is sweet, and their menu is gigantic. The Village wings are off the hook... Pros: Fast delivery, consistent product. Very unique pizza. Cons: They dont deliver more than 3 miles from Central Falls so you have to drive if you're far away. more
