Village Fair 12/7/2005

This is a very small food market situated in the middle of East Rochester, especially known for its meats. It's like some of the small markets around in the 1950's and 1960's with just a couple of checkers at the front. It has the usual variety of supermarket items, in smaller quantity. Meats are quite good. more

Village Fair-Mom & Pop type of grocery store 8/1/2005

The Village Fair in East Rochester is a mom and pop grocery store. The prices tend to be a little higher than in an incorporated grocery store but are well worth it! I would rather my money go to a small family owned store than a big corporation any day. They have an in store deli, with a staffed butcher. Their meat selection is varied, and is fair priced. more
