I have been going to see Jacob at Urban Image for about a year now. I was searching for someone who could do a stylish "bob" haircut. I liked how he took the time to find one that worked with my everyday primping-which is minimal. I get compliments from the day I get it cut till I go back to get it done again (every 2 to 3 months). He layers in perfectly that even as my hair is growing out it still looks new. He always takes his time and is not in a rush to get you out the door, so it makes you feel special. I would recommend this place to any of my friends. Pros: experienced hair stylist, fair prices for great haircut Cons: none more

I've been very pleased with every experience here. I actually followed Jacob there when he moved from another salon a few years ago. He is very professional and worth more than what he charges. Honestly, the only negative thing I can think of is that I missed the building the first time I went there- they could use a more prominent sign. I recently move to Schertz TX and finding a good hair dresser is very difficult since I've been going to the same hair dresser for several years (back in DC area). I saw Urban Image while driving my kids to school and thought why not? I'm glad I did b/c Jacob is awesome! !He is very knowledgeable and took his time. He showed me different styles, talked about my hair type, and and gave me tips/ideas how to maintain it. I'm going back for another hair cut and maybe highlight/color. more

I recently moved to Texas and, after a REALLY bad and unprofessional experience at another salon, I was in search of somewhere new to get my hair done. I stumbled upon Urban Image driving home one day and thought I would give it a whirl. I am SO glad I did. Jacob was amazing! His professionalism and knowledge about hair was immediately evident, and his charismatic personality made me feel as if I had been his client for years. He asked a lot of questions about my hair and styling habits, showing that he is truly interested in providing his clients with a result that will have them leaving happy. I have also had my eyebrows done with Claudia and her work is spectacular, as well. I am military and will definitely be passing on Urban Image and Jacob as the "go-to" for people moving to the Schertz area. more

It's been very difficult to find someone who is good with my long, very thick hair, but Jacob was awesome. I wanted some length off and some style to my long hair and that was about all I could tell him. He worked with me to figure out what I really wanted and I got it. I went to see Jacob about a week ago for a highlight and much needed hair cut. Urban Image and Jacob were recommended to me by a couple of women and all of them where dead on about how knowledgeable and wonderful his personal touch and styling skills are. He asked about my personal hair care practices and we discussed the options that best suited me and my life. Jacob even pointed out a characteristic about my hair that no stylist had ever mentioned to me before, but definitely effected how my hair fell and laid depending on the cut. I walked out of the salon loving my new cut and of course the highlights looked great as well. But my true test of a stylist and a new hair cut has always been what my hair looks like after I have to wash and style it. I am proud to say that with the new product Jacob recommended not only did my hair feel soft and health, my wavy curls looked amazing and handled the humid weather rather well too. Jacob has a great personality, knows his stuff, and has changed my challenging hair in a way I used to only fantasize about. Pros: Great Experience, knowledgeable & friendly staff more

My mom and I both love Jacob to death!! He is with out a doubt the best hair stylist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know!! He listens to your ideas, and he will definately give you an amazing hair cut!! I would never go to any other place but here for a hair cut ever again!! After i first started coming here Jacob introduced me to Claudia, the guru of waxing!! She took my mismatched ugly eyebrows and made them beuatiful!! I went out of town once and got my eyebrows done somewhere else and they completely messed them up, but Claudia was some how able to make them beautiful again!! :) I love this salon so much, everyone you meet is so sweet and so open, you begin to feel like family!! I recomend Jacob and Claudia to anyone and everyone who will listen!! You should definately check them out, if you don't you won't know what you're missing!! more

I moved to Schertz and had a lady do my hair from another salon. She turned it a brassy orange color. It was terrible. I went into Jacob after a friend told me about him. He fixed my hair the first time did a fantastic job. I loved the cut he gave me too. He is very nice and fun to talk to. Thanks Jacob! Pros: Jacob fixed my hair more

I've never had my eyebrows professionally done because i'm very particular about them. I decided to give Urban Image a shot through recommendations of my mom. They turned out great!!! Claudia is super friendly, she gives great tips, and I love how natural my brows looked! I have recommended this salon to many of my friends and they've all fell in love with it! Pros: Great service. I heard about this place through a friend whose been going for years. I went for my first time last month & had an excellent experience. I didn't have an appointment and they took me right away. I loved the set up when I walked in. Everything was decorated in good taste. Unlike most salons, they actually have a room to do your eyebrows. I felt comfortable and I had privacy. It was a cute setup with an actual spa table. The lady who did my eyebrows did exactly what I asked her. I've never had my eyebrows look soooo good. I plan to keep going back. The people were so friendly and easy to talk to. Urban Image is in Schertz Tx, on FM 78. It's not hard to find at all. Pros: Decorated pretty, clean, and cozy. Walk ins welcome. I just moved to the Schertz area and wanted to try a salon closer to home. I read the reviews about the salon and booked an appointment for a partial highlight and cut, with Jacob. He was awesome and completely professional. He made sure my hair was fabulous and kept the great hair care advice coming. My girlfriend took me to Jacob a while back, and I refuse to go to another hair stylist. He always hooks it up for me and not only do the cuts look good, but they grow out nicely too. Not only is this an affordable hair cut, it is a high quality one from someone who should call himself an artist! Jacob is absolutely amazing!! The first time I went there, I went in with an idea of what I wanted, and he adapted it to what would suit me. The next time, after he had mentioned how amazing it would be with a short style similar to Halle Berry's, I told him to go for it - and boy am I ecstatic I did. Jacob's cut has got me nothing but compliments from everyone I meet. It wears great between cuts too, easy to style, easy to love! Jacob is the man to go to for your best hair cut for you! I had a cut and color with Sonia and she was great! She was very thorough, professional, and really paid attention to the little details. She asked all the right questions to really figure out the results I wanted. She also gave me great advice and styling tips to fit my lifestyle as a mom.
