The Osso Bucco is so fresh and so tasty. The meat falls from the bone and when I'm done my dog gets the bone. Lucky me, lucky dog!

Worst

I read a lot of negative reviews but have lived here for 7 years and always wanted to try this place. The waiter did not know the difference between fried zucchini and fried calam...

Really wanted to give them a chance 11/21/2010

I read a lot of negative reviews but have lived here for 7 years and always wanted to try this place. The waiter did not know the difference between fried zucchini and fried calamari. The only way the pasta is homemade is if the owner lives in a Barilla factory. This is especially offensive since the menu claims that "all pasta is homemade in the kitchen". Even the menu on the website claims this. I have the same penne in my kitchen pantry. The sauces were also not homemade. Additionally, they overcharged me (be sure to check the math on your bill, this is a common complaint). Would be OK if the pasta was $5-8 but for these prices it should be a crime. more

Homemade Italian dishes 8/4/2010

On my birthday one year I wanted to go to an authentic Italian restaurant with my family. We love italian food and it is always a treat to take my mom somewhere that serves fresh pasta. When we stopped at Trattoria da Franco it blew my expectations. The homemade pasta is served inside an old brownstone in the heart of old town. Christmas lights create a romantic atmosphere for dining outdoors. This is a great date place or for your family, just beware don't bring large groups as they cannot accomodate too many people inside. more

Yum! 6/15/2010

Loved the Italian waiters, loved the outside atmosphere, really loved the food and found the prices reasonable. This was the best italian food I have ever had! I hear they have opera night as well and plan to be there! Hope to make this a regular spot. more

A must to try!! 11/10/2004

My husband & I tried this place for our anniversary. It was the first time we went there. It is a rowhouse converted to restaurant. Very cute and charming inside. There is a fireplace and piano. The food is excellent!! So much better than we expected. The service is very attentive. You must try the White Chocolate Cheese Cake!!!!
