The lessons were focused on what I wanted to get out of playing the guitar, which was to be able to play and sing along to my favorite songs. The teacher gave me great exercises to do as well as the chords for songs I was interested in, and was encouraging in a genuine way. I made great progress from my perspective in the 7 lessons I had so far. more

Now, just six weeks or so later, I can play almost all of the songs I wanted to learn. They are Christian Praise and Worship and not that complicated. I started bringing in other stuff that I found on a guitar tab website from the Beatles, The Eagles, Garth Brooks, and a bunch of other artists. My teacher has helped me tackle them all. more

fantastic teacher 3/11/2012

a fantastic music teacher. he has been a gift to both me and my 9 year old daughter, and taught me the theory i never was exposed to in elementary school music. i encourage everyone who considers getting music into their life to try lessons with him. more
