Editorial review from Citysearch 8/20/2012

Wonderful experience! Over any of the bridal shops near the west end, this was the best experience by far. Chloe made it her goal to find something for me. She was concentrated on the appointment and to do anything necessary to make me happy and find what I was looking for. Highly recommend! more

There will be NO stars given here. What 5/17/2012

There will be NO stars given here. What an absolutely awful experience we had with this place. You can tell what type of business is run here when the owner hasn't even changed the address to their new location. Not that I reccommend anyone try to find them. My son and his groomsmen ordered their suits from Tiffany's.They were all measured and ordered in March, the wedding was in May. What a nightmare! Since this was a Friday evening wedding, we were told to pick the suits up on the Wed. before, they weren't there. So I (mother of the groom) picked all but 2 suits up for the boys on the Thursday before. None of the suits fit, some were too big, some were too small, pants too short, jacket sleaves too short, etc. one of the guys got a childs tie, we had to use a plastic bag to lengthen the tie enough so the end of it would not show at the top of the jacket. the ring bearer's jacket didn't come in until 2 hours before the wedding! And when we took the suits back and asked to see the manager.....Sharon......would not come out and talk to us. AWFUL.....AWFUL......AWFUL experience. I do not reccommend Tiffany's Bridal to anyone more

Great Experience! 4/28/2012

What a great bridal salon! Sharon, the owner, was very helpful and professional. I went with my friend to get her wedding gown and after visiting SEVERAL Richmond salons, Tiffany's was by far the best. They were the most personable and had the best selection of gowns. I don't understand why older reviews were so low for Tiffany's, but it's great now. Sharon helped us every time we came (the bride was very indecisive :) and was kind enough to keep wait for us and even keep the store open about 15 min. late so we could finish up. We went to try bridesmaids dresses and they have a nice selection. It was a ""find it yourself"" experience, but there were 5 of us and we actually preferred it that way. But we had our own set of dressing rooms right by the dresses, so it was a nice time together. We probably would have bought the dresses at Tiffany's, but they didn't have the exact color of blue the bride was looking for :) But after personally visiting 6 different bridal salons around Richmond, I can say that Tiffany's was the best for service and selection. more

Needs advise from other bridal shops 4/7/2009

I went with two of my attendants, one a size 18, the other a size 10. There are no bridesmaid dresses over a size 14 - and most of them are sized from 8-12, like the old fashioned stores had been in the past. We used my size 10 attendant to model the dresses because there was no one working in the store that could model for us. Our saleswoman was very nice and informative, but the other saleswoman that was working with another bride did not even acknowledge us -not very friendly. Even at hectic David's Bridals the sales staff was more personable. I purchased my gown in Farmville at Esther May's boutique where the service was and still is great. They understand the needs of the bride and bridal party. Also a new place on Midlothian Tpke called Bridesmaid's Corner (just relocated)has a great selection, and priced a little lower than Tiffany's. That is where I am sending my many bridesmaids of different shapes and sizes! Pros: Location Cons: dress sample sizes, price, friendliness of some staff more

Tiffany's Bridal: a brides nightmare 9/17/2008

A miserable experience from the first appointment. They have made one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding experience just terrible. Every bridesmaid was measured incorrectly and each had well over $100 worth of alterations after the dress came in. Not one single phone call has ever been returned by any of the ""consultants"". Fabric samples have been ordered twice but still have never come in after dresses were purchased. The ""consultants"" are unprofessional, unfriendly, and very difficult to deal with. Save yourself the headache and time...I wish my bridesmaids and I had this advice before hand. The website says ""A Richmond Tradition"" which is just insulting to Richmonders. We know taste, style and service and this is NOT it. Beware. Pros: not one thing comes to mind Cons: service, consultants, atmosphere, attitude, everything... more

highly recommend!! 9/11/2008

My experience at Tiffanys was wonderful! I had great consultants that were very knowledgable and helpful with my entire wedding party, Groomsmen included! Tiffanys has the best selection of beautiful gowns in the city of Richmond, bar none!! I will refer all of my friends to shop at this bridal salon. more

annoying 6/24/2008

I agree with the other girl who said she had an initial good experience. I am in the middle of working with Tiffanys and have spent a lot of money there, because I have purchased shoes, dress, and bridesmaids dresses there. When my dress came, it was made wrong and was not long enough. The consultant tried to convince me to just wear flats and not heels to deal with the length issue! Then they agreed to order me another one, but I ended up just altering the one in-store. When 2 of my bridesmaids found out they were pregnant, Tiffany's would not work with them to find a comparable maternity gown, and they ended up having to order it elsewhere. Every time I go in, I have a different person helping me, and I'm usually left standing by myself for long periods of time because they seem to schedule concurrent appointments. Then they told me that they would call me when my bridesmaid dresses were ready, but they didn't. I finally called today (three weeks before my wedding) and the woman said, ""oh yeah, they are here, i don't know why you weren't called."" Meanwhile, all of my bridesmaids were in town last weekend and could have picked up the dress then. Now, they all have to pay a $25 shipping fee to have their dress shipped to them (because I do not trust Tiffany's to make the alterations.) more

Stole My Wedding Gown 6/12/2008

My dream wedding gown was found at the Tiffany's Bridal and Formal in Virginia Beach. I put it on lay away and paid for monthly until paid in full, never a late payment. Before I could pick it up, they were consolidated to this location near Richmond. I visited in person with my receipts and was told they have no such gown or paperwork. With evidence of a paper trail, the female associate then tried to keep my records and told me to leave the premises. On the third request, she shoved the papers back at me. Then, believe it or not, tried to tell me they were not ""really"" Tiffany's and had no such dealings with ""that company"". more

Attitude 3/22/2008

Unfortunately, this is the only bridal shop around that carries my bridesmaid dresses. Even though the website says they will try to work with you if you don't have an appointment, they absolutely will not. I tried to go one day and I had already committed to getting my bridesmaid dresses there and ordered several. I just wanted my sister to try the gown on and be measured so she could order it, and was told that without an appointment, there was no way she could try it on, even though there were no other customers in the store! Okay selection, but service really depends on the day and which person is helping you, and don't expect them to be friendly! Pros: Good Location Cons: Poor Service more

Not recommended 3/12/2008

I have been plainning my wedding for 2 years and have been a customer of Tiffany's for the past year and a half. I not only purcheased my wedding gown, but also my bridesmaid dresses and accessories (needless to say I have spent quite a bit of money at Tiffany's). My initial experience was OK, but once I committed to the dresses it has all been a downhill spiral. If you like clarity and organization this is most certainity NOT the right place to go. I have never met with the same consultant twice and have had absolutely terrible sevice on more than one occassion. Store hours and alteration availablity times are atrocious, never convenient to a ""working girls's"" schedule, and NO they aren't willing to work with you. Neighboring bridal shops are definately the better choice, but don't take my word for it (just make one appointment and you will understand). Not all associates are incompetant, but there is one whom could ruin your entire experience in 5 minutes. Best Wishes! Cons: service more

So-so service 5/12/2002

My experience here could've been better. We had an appointment to try on wedding dresses (a must, especially on weekends), but we still felt rushed. Also, the selection isn't as varied as other boutiques--Tiffany's has lots of dresses, but they're all very similar to each other. Pros: Convenient locations Cons: Rushed service more
