I visited this salon twice because of the high marks of the reviews thinking that perhaps the first visit of not what I expected," unprofessional, unenthusiastic service was a fluke. However, on my second visit, I found the quality of service to be very poor, the atmosphere to be without energy, and the staff to be unprofessional. On my second visit, during the week, I was the ONLY client in the salon as I had my haircut and highlighted. There were only TWO stylists in the entire salon. The shampoo room is not as exceptional as other reviews lead one to believe. The whole experience was quite disappointing. I do not recommend this salon because the attention to detail is just not there, and the staff is so dull. One expects some enthusiasm when one is paying those prices. A smile would have been nice! This is one of the the nicest salons that I have ever been to. Their shampoo room is very relaxing and they give very good head massages. The stylists are highly trained in color. Their spa is seperated from the hair area, which is nice. I got a great deep tissue massage. Pros: Clean more

This is a great salon! If you haven't seen it, you should. The shampoo room (relaxation room as they call it) is wonderful. I could stay there all day. Our family has been a client at Progressive Image for over 15 years. We have watched it develop into a professional salon, with the best stylists. It is clean, friendly, but more than that these employees have kind, giving hearts. I have witnessed first hand the compassion to those less fortunate. They are always staying up with the latest styles. I work in retail, and when I go to get my hair cut I want to relax, getting my hair washed in their fabulous room is the most wonderful treat of all. I agree with both of the previous reviews. The stylists are great while the management and phone staff are less than enjoyable to deal with. However, while saying this I must also say that the atmosphere, cost, and above all else stylists are well worth the trouble. My stylist always does my hair in the exact way I want it and I have never been unhappy with the results. I actually drive in from another city to come to Progressive Images. While I do like the salon, if my stylist was to leave so would my business. I recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great hair-do and a great stylist; this salon is well worht it! This is one of the best salons I have ever used including those in CA. Why? This salon is staffed with stylists and assistants who know their business and are up on the latest trends. Their color treatments can not be topped. This quality work is surrounded by a professional atmosphere with service to fit most any need from head to feet. The in store service makes one feel special from the time you enter until you leave. The owner and manager is customer focused and is quick to tend to any request or need. I have a been a stylist in this salon for almost four years. I was troubled to hear of the negative review we received. Of coarse everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I am very sorry one of our clients did not enjoy their total experience with us. On our behalf I must say, that we work very hard as a team to provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for our clients to relax in. I'm only sorry they didn't comment our good qualities; such as, our professional appearance in dress and shop , our willingness to accomidate everyone's needs, and our stylist who work very hard to offer up-to-date services and precision work. I have been going to this salon since 1999. I have only continued to go there because I am loyal to my stylist. If I had a choice, I would be out the door. The main problem I see that is consistent, is the Front Desk Staff. They don't seem to be trained very well on professionalism. Many times, they have confirmed my appointment, and then not have me on the books. Seems to be very unorganized. Their response to you is, "Well, I don't know what to tell you." I am in the service industry, and I know that if someone on my staff conducts themself the way the Front Desk Staff does at this salon, they won't have a job. If you ask me, the Manager needs to attend a few seminars on "Business Etiquette." Overall will continue to go there until my stylist leaves.
