I go to the Main Event almost every week. Sometimes to eat, sometimes just for a drink. It's really the best neighborhood restaurant/bar in long island. The service is great. I know the owners by name and they are very generous with the buy backs. They gave my party a round of soco and lime shots for my 26th bday (with a candle in it). Their seafood is amazing. I'm usually wary about ordering seafood at inexpensive places, but they really do have great quality seafood. They have about a million tvs all over the restaurant and will adjust them to your liking. It's my ""Cheers"", you should make it your's too. Pros: great food, great atmosphere, great service more

Attention Sports Fans 3/4/2003

This is a great place to watch a game or just have dinner with family/friends. They have something like 30 TVs, located pretty much in view of any table you're sitting at, as well as another 10 by the bar. The food is quite good, including a lot of fresh seafood. It's a place that draws many sports fans, as well as families with young children. Just ask anyone to switch the tv in your view to Nickelodeon or ESPN, and it's done.
