Owners are very nice at the initial visit.Tonight was my daughter's wedding we didn't me the our hostess until right before the wedding began. She was not helpful and made us feel very rushed. I hate that they won't serve food immediately following the ceremony. Yes I knew this was the policy but seems rediculous to me! We had a lot of food left over and when I questioned them about it they said we went over this in the initial meeting. I paid over $6000.00 to have the wedding here. My bride left with the food they had prepared for them to take and when she got to her hotel all they had was vegetables and dessert! Very disappointing. My wife and I had our wedding luncheon at Eldredge Manor this last March. The venue was warm and comfortable with enough room for our large crowd and plenty of parking. The staff was very quick and helpful but not in the way at the same time. They were perfect. The food as well was great! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding luncheon. The dream Wedding!! We got married on 9-10-11 :) It was a rainy day, but the staff encouraged me to stay optimistic and joyful. All the while they were setting up for every possibility. The clouds went away and they set up for the perfect wedding. The staff was wonderful to help us with whatever we needed, by the time we were ready to do our send off they had already cleaned everything up and put our property aside for us (my mom didn't have to do a thing, SHE WAS THRILLED!!) My husband and I got into our limo to leave and found that they had made a to go box of food for us, since we didn't get a chance to eat all night. It was just a wonderful experience. I have 4 daughters and the 1st wedding was at the Eldredge Manor. They were very professional and curtious. It was our first and the grooms family's first wedding. It was pleasant to work with the staff and host, they were a great help. more

My husband and I had our luncheon and reception at the Eldredge Manor on February 2. \r \r Steve and Jonan are both great to work with. They took the time to make sure my day went just as I envisioned it. \r \r The luncheon food was absolutely delicious, and the service was wonderful! The staff made sure each of our guests had exactly what they needed. They were prompt to clean up our tables and to refill our drinks. \r \r Jonan was such wonderful hostess! She helped everything go so smoothly. She was quick to help me with any and all questions I had.\r \r The Manor itself is beautiful inside and out. It is well cared for and has a great, functional layout. \r \r I definitely recommend the Eldredge Manor to anyone looking for a flawless, beautiful day. It is one we will never forget! more

The Manor at Eldredge Square was an amazing place to have our wedding reception. It completed the most wonderful day of our lives and there is not a more exceptional host for such a magnificent and important occasion. The hosts were so wonderful and helpful in many different aspects, any questions we had that could help with and made the event much better. The facilities are just so beautiful and updated, making our wedding so memorable for both us, the bride and groom, as well as our guests. The pictures we were able to take on the outside, as well as the in, were so beautiful. The accommodations were very very helpful on what can be a very stressful day. We are so pleased and happy we chose to have our wedding at the Manor at Eldredge Square and recommend it to anyone, knowing that their wedding would be perfect there too! more

I had my wedding reception at Eldredge Manor and was VERY disappointed!!!- overpriced, bad food and TERRIBLE STAFF!!\r The only thing good about this place is that is has a nice garden in the back if you want to be outside- other than that I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place- they take better care of the plants than the customers!!!\r \r Don't expect to have any help at all if you have an event at this place. I talked to them on the phone about how I would like things set up for my wedding because they wouldn't let me come down and actually go over things in person. The day of the wedding you wouldn't think I talked to them at all. Nothing was set up at all. When I got there after my wedding I had to set up everything myself two hours before the reception. I knew when I started planning my wedding that I wanted to have an outdoor wedding reception. I had no idea how difficult it would be to find a really elegant, peaceful place in the Davis County area until I started searching. There are many locations in Salt Lake and further but very few in Davis County. We looked at about 4 or 5 different reception centers but none of them compared to what Eldredge Manor had to offer. The location of Eldredge Manor is convenient and the price is very competitive. I was pleased to see that their were no hidden fees, once you pay the price everything is included. Many of the other reception centers charge you for every little thing you use, like the tablecloths, or chair sashes, or vases for flowers, I knew that would get really pricey so I was pleased that Eldredge Manor did not do that. They were very helpful prior to the wedding in making sure that they were aware of everything we wanted (I should mention that they were very flexible and accomodating when it came to this as well) and in making sure that everything would run smoothly on our wedding day. more

Getting married at eldredge was the most memerable wedding expirence for us and our guests.. Its trucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.. Pros: Ambience, the most fun wedding cordinator and most beautiful Cons: There is none trust me! more

My husband and I recently had our reception at the Eldredge Manor. From the beginning we were treated very professionally yet personably. We had some specific ideas that were a little non-traditional for a typical Utah wedding. The staff was more than willing to determine how we could best accomplish what we wanted at their venue, and it turned out fabulously--just like we pictured it. We couldn't have been more pleased. Having a winter wedding, the venue itself was at once elegant and cozy. They have two large gathering rooms and we were able to accommodate about 200 guests at once in the building. The only drawback of its house-like features was that the entry of the house couldn't fit the entire line inside--so some people had to wait outside in the cold. I don't see this being a problem for people who are not sending out several hundred announcements, or who are having their event in the warmer months. For those on a tight budget, the venue "stands alone"--you don't need a lot to dress it up. But for those who want to lavishly decorate, it certainly plays well to that too. The additional services and ammenities are also widely ranged and very convenient. We utilized the limousine service to pick us up from our ceremony location to transport us to the reception. It was great! The staff at Eldredge manor not only arranged it, but confirmed with me that everything was in order. That helped with my stress level! The upstairs area was great for pre-reception primping and prepping. The food was also very good. We chose the soup bar and I have had several guests comment since on how good the food was. Another feature that I really appreciated was the amount of time that we had at the venue. In checking around, the Eldredge Manor offered more bang-for-your-buck. We weren't limited to two or three hours, and that really was great for us. I was very pleased with the entire experience and I would recommend the venue to anyone at any time of the year. Pros: Wide range of services. Wide range of good food. Beautiful and diverse venue. Pretty much everything. Cons: Entry way was cramped for fitting in a large guest line. Kind of hidden off the road--but if you include directions with the invitation, it shouldn't be a problem. more

My wife and I had our luncheon on our wedding day at the Eldredge Manor and our experience there was quite exquisite. Right from the start we felt like we were important to the said establishment and felt like they took care of us very well. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and made sure that our every need was taken care of. The food was amazing! We had comments about it from many of our guests throughout the entire day. The servers were very accommodating and met the needs of everyone. The manor itself is extraordinary; it is very elegant and well kept. The ambience inside is absolutely stunning. My husband and I had our reception at Eldredge Manor in August and we couldn?t be happier with how everything turned out. The grounds were breathtaking and the facilities are spacious and elegant. The gardens and waterfalls provided wonderful backdrops for photos. There was plenty of room inside and outside for eating, dancing, and mingling. The wedding coordinators took care of everything from ordering the flower arrangements to recommending an excellent photographer. We didn't know exactly what we wanted and the staff was so helpful. They provided us with plenty of photos and even let us stop by as they were setting up for other weddings so we could get ideas for our wedding. The food was also excellent and the buffet tables were beautifully arranged with fresh fruit in vibrant colors and two chocolate fountains. Beautiful setting. Easy to get to. Sweet garden area for our ceremony. The staff was helpful, knowledgable and attentive. We were able to relax and enjoy our evening with our guests. Also, compared to others we looked at the price was excellent. Pros: Ambience more

My brother had his wedding reception held here. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is a little outdoor area with room for dancing and a reception line, and then an indoor area with tables and a plasma tv. I am more a fan of having one big area for all the guests and newlyweds to be, but in this situation it works to have the indoor and outdoor areas for different purposes - the trees outside provide a particularly good lighting for pictures.
