Matt's Special 9/23/2009

This is a cute little restaurant in Downtown Fullerton, very romantic. I love the little story and artwork they included in back of the menu. It was so fitting, as my friends had just gotten married that day and we were having a celebratory lunch. My favorite is the Matt's Special. Matt's Special is a sandwich made of brie, balsamic soaked apple slices, avocadoes and crisp bacon on squaw bread. Fabulous. I'd avoid their complicated dishes, such as the ahi tuna salad, or anything with chicken breast. I've heard horror stories about this place. They don't have tight quality control. But I'll always come back for their Matt's Special and their Tomato Basil soup. It was that good. Actually, I may come back tomorrow! more

Brownstone Cafe is Nice 8/21/2009

A great little breakfast/ sandwich place. The food is good and healthy. The atmosphere is really nice. You can sit outside by the fountain in Villa del Sol. Lovely. more

A nice cozy atmosphere. Nice patio dining. Great for a weekend breakfast while reading the paper. The staff has always been freindly and the food is uniformly good. more

Fresh salads and sandwiches 11/8/2008

I have enjoyed lunch at the Brownstone Cafe on several occasions. It's located in the downtown area of Fullerton, so parking can be an issue during lunch. However, once inside, there are several good lunch options, including healthy sandwiches and salads. Ask for seating on the patio. more

Do NOT eat here 10/19/2008

It took our waitress 3 attempts to locate a beer they had in stock. Mind you, they only have 4 beers on the menu... We ordered our drinks and made our selections from the menu consisting of soup, salads, wraps and sandwiches. To start, we had the bruschetta which was great... and then it all went downhill.
