Went here for dinner on Sunday, they told me it was going to take 20 minutes to be sat and it only took 5. Then the server was great, very attentive and had a great personality. I would hate to have to wear those flip flops with socks but I guess the idea of bare feet around my food I hate worse. Good experience. more

Serice here was lack luster at best. The hosted was snotty and the servers only cared about getting in getting your tip and getting you out. more

I have been to this location several times since it opened, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The pricing is the same as the other Japanese steakhouses in the valley. The service has always been very good, since each table gets their own host. My drinks always are filled, and the food always is served promptly. I get the Geisha Special, which is: shrimp, chicken, New York steak, soup, salad, veggies, and fried rice, for a reasonable price of $21. Be advised though, that there will be a 17% tip added to your bill whether you like it or not. This is not a place for frequent dining, but more for special occasions. So save up your money and splurge! Pros: Great variety, and you get a lot for your money Cons: Tips added whether you like it or not more

I came to this site just to give this place a bad review. We went there a few days ago, and it was awful! I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant. I ordered some sushi (which I admit was decent) but then the waitress messed up with my order and almost gave me someone else's sushi. When I explained to her that I had only ordered one roll, she didn't get it. I had to tell her three times. \r I don't eat meat so the only thing I ordered was the ""veggie dinner."" the name sounded suspicious, and it was terrible. The only veggies are zucchinis, onions, and mushrooms. They were hardly cooked at all and got slopped on my plate in a watery mess. They had no flavor whatsoever. Add the flavorless soup (basically a broth, with one floating mushroom. Not even miso soup!) and the disaster of a salad, and it was 9 dollars. My husband ordered the ""filet mignon and chicken"" which was thrown on the grill and cut up into small bits. He wasn't happy with his order either! Oh, and if you wanted fried rice or noodles, you have to pay about 2-3 dollars extra. If not, you get stuck with about 1/2 cup of steamed rice. \r All together this meal was horrible. The average price per plate is 15-20+ dollars, and it is totally not worth it. It is flavorless and cheap. The service is terrible too. I don't really care if someone can do fancy tricks with their spatula on the grill. I was so disappointed that I think it will haunt me the rest of my life. Pros: Nothing. Sitting by complete strangers is awkward, too! Cons: Everything. Basically everything you can think of. I think even my chopsticks gave me a sliver. more

The hostesses were not very friendly and neglected to inform us that the sushi area was a separate part of the restaurant and self-seating. After waiting a half-hour for a table and being seated elbow-to-elbow with others at the grill, we finally found our way to the empty (for good reason even though it was Sat night at ~7PM) Sushi area. It took 15 minutes for the staff to take our drink order and another 15 minutes to deliver it. Food service was even longer than that. The waitress, for some unknown reason, took the paper that I had my chop sticks propped on, dropping the tips my chopsticks to the table (which is what I was trying to avoid). That ironically was the only visit she made to the table during the entire meal. The sushi itself was fair at best with a strong fishy-taste that probably indicated it was not fresh. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else for your Sushi like Takashi (which is exceptional in all categories). Pros: close to home Cons: service, food, atmosphere more

Service is fair. Most of the time they are very prompt and ready to take your order only a few minutes after you are seated. Their sushi dishes are one of a kind, fresh, and amazing. The sushi chef is more than happy to come out and explain a certain type of dish to you and what he would recommend. Very nice, clean atmosphere. Pros: The sushi is unique, soft, and fresh, especially the tuna. The environment is fairly peaceful with a muted sports game for those interested in keeping an eye on the scores. Cons: Sometimes they do not come by to check on you. more

My husband and I used to go to Tepanyaki because it is close to our home. We love sushi but don't want to drive so far. Eating in the sushi section is a joke! We had the same experience every time we dined there. The waitress only came to the table to get our orders. Even though she passes by our table 5-10 times she never stops to see how the food is or fill up our drinks. When we are given change from our bill the wait staff brings back only large bills in hopes of getting a big tip. Leaving $10 for a $20 bill is crazy. Overal,l a waste of money for bad service and so so sushi. Pros: Close to home, no wait for sushi bar Cons: bad service, so so food more

I Love this place, My family and I eat here weekly. The food is excellant and the service is great too. Cons: They are such a busy place, plan on a little wait. But its worth it. more
