although it doesn't carry as many 100% cottons as the bigger fabric stores it makes up for that by the good service you receive. friendly place and people. more

Locally owned and operated -- this is the place to shop for a huge selection of quilter's fabrics (they also carry other fabric though for all of your crafting needs). They have block-of-the-month clubs, classes, and very knowledgeable staff to help you with your projects. The shop also has a big assortment of notions, pattern books, and completed quilts and other fabric items for sale. more

Thistle Dew has a wonderful selection of quilting cottons and supplies,and we also carry batiks,flannels,and minky.  We have embroidery and handwork supplies,including felted wool,dupioni silk,silk/rayon velvet,Cosmo embroidery floss,Genziana wool thread,Valdani pearl cotton,buttons,ribbons,beads,and other embellishments.  We have a friendly,experienced,helpful staff,and great classes.  We are located in the charming,historic Fair Oaks Village.
