A good choice 9/16/2005

Well I admit I am a little bias when it comes to toy stores (love Toyworks), Toy West is a nice alternative to Toys R Us. They have a good selection of dress up, Thomas the Train, lamaze, and others. The prices for the toys that the chain stores carry are considerable higher but otherwise the prices are in line. The bins upfront have fun stocking stuffer type toys for the holidays, though some of our family favorites are often sold out. I find myself at this store when I have waited for the last minute for a gift, since they stay open with the mall hours. more

Lots of normal toys along with more educational toys, This is a cute little toy store with more old schoold and educational toy's. They don't sell all the battery operated and remote controll toys. Their toys are more the type that make you use your brain, thike games and puzzls, they also have a selection of toys for younger kids, like dolls, blocks and shape maching toys. They also have alot of plastic figurines, like dino's and farm animals. They also sell the little wooden villages and trains with tracks. Fun brain buster store. more

Different toy store 8/7/2005

This toy store carries toys that you don't mind buying for kids. You won't find alot of Barbie, gameboys, electronic, or fad toys here. This store has a lot of games, puzzles, dolls, and other toys that look like a child would get alot of use from them. This is also the only store I've found that carries the Serendipity Books, that I loved as a child and they carry a large selection. They also carry a cute dollhouse line called Country Critters or something along those lines. This is a neat store to take kids to, and I would reccomend it for anyone looking for children's gifts. more

Great toys. 8/3/2005

This is a great store to find toys that are not just barbies and run of the mill stuff. They have a big selection of collectible dolls. And wooden toys also. And a nice selection of animal figures to inspire imagination. They carry Brio brand. And have a very nice selection of coloring books and games. They also have models. They do have the more mass market toys too. Its a great store to find non charter items. more
