Hannah Hannah Hannah! My mom, my aunt and I have now all had massages by Hannah and she is amazing! All 3 of us needed massages for different reasons, relaxation from stress for my mom, deep tissue knots for my aunt, and sports massage for myself she was the best any of us have ever received a massage from. The whole salon itself is a great atmosphere and the receptionists are very helpful and easy to work with. All 3 of us already have our next appointment booked and the salon is probably where I am going to do a bridal party! more

Each year my brother-in-law gives me a gift certificate to a day spa and this year he gave me a certificate to Syeni; from now on, he only needs to call Syeni Salon! Before I went to the salon I enjoyed an hour of shopping in the great stores in historic downtown Apex. What a hidden treasure they are! Then I was off to the salon. When I first walked in, the woman at the front desk was very attentive. She gave me a tour, took me to a lovely changing room, and had me wait in the relaxation room. I loved this room so much, I'm going to turn my bonus room into one now that I'm almost an empty-nester!! I had the Turkish Experience with Gregory. He greeted me, explained everything he would be doing, and made me feel very comfortable from the start. It began with a complete body salt/oil scrub. When he was finished I took a warm shower to wash off the salt and then he wrapped me with very warm damp linens and sealed me up to my chest. It felt like Heaven must feel when you first arrive! While I was enjoying this, Gregory massaged my scalp for about 15 minutes. (Note...your hair will have oils in it when finished so don't plan on going out in public unless you get it washed at the salon before leaving!) After this he gave me a complete body massage with wonderfully aromatic lotions. I can not begin to tell you how relaxing it was and my skin feels as smooth as a baby's skin. Gregory was very much a gentleman and I never felt uncomfortable. I can't wait to go back!! The salon itself is in a restored tobacco warehouse and is beautiful. If you want to pamper yourself in luxury, Syeni Salon is the place to do it. Thanks Gregory!! more

My mother-in-law sent me birthday money and I knew I wanted to spoil myself with a massage. I knew about Syeni Spa because I live in Apex and was anxiously waiting for it to be completed. Its very beautiful and relaxing. I booked the detox wrap & 60 min massage and it was a wonderful experience. I have never had a wrap before and did not realize how relaxing it was to do before a massage, it was perfect. Georgia was excellent, and found my stress area in my left shoulder. I have booked another massage in July ! I can't wait. more

I've had many spa services at various locations and none beat the two I've had at Syeni. Last winter 3 of my girlfriends and I had various services done and each one of us were thrilled with the results. I had a facial and used to them leaving the room during the mask process. But I Syeni I was wonderfully suprised with a warm foot towel and hand massage while the mask processed for no extra charge. more

I just completed the ""spa-cation"" at syeni and it was awesome! I enjoyed each of the four services I received (massage, facial, mani, pedi) and felt relaxed and rejuvenated when I left - the epitome of what a spa should be. I've been to several area spas and none of them have this level of peace and tranquility about them. I highly recommend syeni! more

I just moved here from Chicago were I would spend $65 for the best hair cut ever at Mario Tricoci's and I loved it. I was worried since there was no Mario's here I would not find a stylist to match my spoiled needs. I was proven wrong today. I visited Syeni and the stylist, Kristen, was absolutely amazing. She asked me what I wanted, I told her and she did exactly that. I am very particular about my hair and besides Mario's everywhere else has butchered my head always cutting off way more than I wanted or adding their own crazy flourishes to the style which I can?t stand. Also she didnt just cut my hair, she talk to me and not just small talk. We spoke as if we had known each other for years. Talking about our lives and families, it was comforting to know I was not just a dollar sign to her. I will be returning to Syeni and will be recommending it to all the people I know who want to have their day of relaxation be really relaxing and affordable. Pros: Attention to detail more

I've been getting my hair done by Kristen ever since she started going to cosmetology school at Mitchell's in Raleigh. It's been about 3 years now since then. No one knows my hair better and does it better than Kristen. I go where ever she's working at, so as soon as she got hired at Syeni I made my appointment. Kristen's best work has been her coloring on my hair. And having her work on my hair in a salon like Syeni is a dream. I can't wait to go back! Pros: Enviroment is excellent Cons: Prices, but it's worth it more

I had a woman named Kristen a while ago. She seemed very promising, but my opinion changed when she was done. She talked as if she knew everything, but she wasn't able to back it up. My hair was choppy in the back and was very brassy. I walked around with a hat on my head until I was able to fix it myself. Pros: Nice furnishing Cons: Price more

Michael did a good job. Not so sure about the tone of my highlights; a little brassy. A little too expensive-$200 cut and highlights. Pros: Very upscale, urban feel. Cons: Pricey- Twice what I typically pay more

I was at Syeni the other day for a cut. I was guided to a nice relaxing area until she was ready. It was kind of busy but beyond that very nice. When she was ready and got me she took the time to address my hair concerns and talk to me about what I could do with my hair. After I explained what I wanted she reexplained and took me to get my hair washed. She gave a great shampoo! I have just never had someone take so much time to examine my hair needs and I loved it. I will be back for color but I highly suggest going to get your hair cut by her. Pros: relaxing place great stylist beautiful inside Cons: strange male stylist who came and sat next to us to watch more

I tried out Syeni for a massage a few days before I was getting married. I had a 4pm appointment for a 60 minute massage and arrived a few minutes before 4pm. I squeezed in the small waiting area as there were two customers standing at the counter before me. Both were trying to buy gift cards. I kid you not, I stood there for twenty minutes with no one so much as acknowledging that I was waiting to check in!! Finally when those people were done buying gift cards the front desk woman checked me in and had me fill out paperwork (I could have done that in the 20 minutes I was waiting.). I finally was allowed to go back and meet my masseuse but by now it was well after 4:20. I met the masseuse and she informed me that since I was late my appointment needed to be either completely rescheduled or shortened to half an hour because she had another client coming in at 5!! This was not my fault and I should not have had my appointment compromised because no one felt the need to check me in at the front. So I was already annoyed that I had been standing there for twenty minutes waiting and then I found out that my nice relaxing one hour massage was going to be shortened down to thirty minutes!! Did I mention that I also drove about forty minutes to get to this place!? Horrible customer service. I would never go back or recommend this to anyone. Also while I was waiting a man stylist offered me a free blow-out when I was done with my massage. When I saw him after, he pretended like he couldn't see me and completely ignored me. I went into Syeni last Saturday to receive a facial with Gregory. I was taken on a tour and put into the ""relaxing room"" and offered a drink. It was all so soothing. The room so was inviting, I didn't ever want to leave. They had what looked like a party of girls on one of the couches in the room and they were having so much fun! They had champagne and I think the salon offers other adult beverages as well. Even though I knew Gregory was busy, I didn't have to wait long and he still spent every bit of time on me he needed to and I felt like I was his only client of the day! Everything seemed so effortless and I was well taken care of, I will be returning very soon.. maybe with a party of my own! Pros: Excellent staff, Phenomenal services Cons: None that I saw! more

I had a bad hair experience of which would keep me from going there for any hair service. I went in to get a hair cut & specifically explained what I wanted & asked several times not to cut too short. I came out with hardly any hair!! Not only was the cut very short compared to what I had asked but it was texturized to the point that It could only stand straight out!!! I could not work with my hair for 2 weeks. I missed going to an event because I could not deal with my too-short hair. They did offer a free consultation with another hair stylist but at that point I did not wish to go back. Hair cannot be put back on!!! When I called to get an appointment I asked how much a cut would be. I was quoted one price but ended up being charged $20.00 more than first quoted. This was not a pleasant experience at all, I am sorry to say. more

I was in a week ago to try a new place. I went to get a facial. I was greeted in the lobby very nice and professional. I was wisked off immediately on a quick tour by the hostess, beautiful spa....taken to the dressing area to change, taken to a relaxation room, omg i was in heaven. a few moments later, a nice young gentleman greeted me by the name of gregory. I have never had a male do a facial on me. Well, let me tell you it was fantastic. He consulted me on my regimen at home, questions regarding allergies or medications, then told me the history of the product he was using and what he chose for my skin type based on my answers. It was very relaxing , i went to sleep and he tapped me on the shoulder to wake me up, my skin felt great and i felt great, i will be back soon, Pros: great staff,friendly, beautiful building, clean and tidy Cons: n/a more

I went in to get a hair cut and the woman ruined my hair. It was as if she had no professional experience. I figured with it being upscale, they would of had professional stylists. I will never return to this place and I will be sure to spread the word to all my friends in the apex area. Pros: Great look Cons: I was the only client there more

Today, I had a great hair cut with Jean. She took the time to get to know me and my hair. She then made suggestions for what would be best. I greatly appreciated her advice and direction.
