Tooele Subway is probably THE worst Subway that I have been to ever. My husband, daughter and I went to the Subway in Saratogo Springs, Utah a few days before we went to the Subway in Tooele. In Saratoga, we spent $20.69 for two foot longs in a meal with chips and a kids meal also upgrading our drinks to the largest size. While in Saratoga we earned enough for a free footlong sandwich. \r \r A few days later we decided to go to Subway in Tooele for lunch because we had that free foot long sandwich on our points card. \r \r In Tooele, we ordered the EXACT same thing as the Subway in Saratoga Springs only we ordered 2 medium drinks instead of the large drinks. The price at the Tooele Subway was $19.70!! So we only saved .99 cents and we got smaller drinks, AND we used our points for a free footlong sandwich!? So either the points thing is a big scam or the girl at the register didn't know what the heck she was doing. \r \r Paying for a free sandwich was not the only problem however. The sandwiches left a lot to be desired. The bread was over proofed and flat. Toasting it only made it worse. The girl at the counter basically threw the lettuce, tomatoes, and toppings onto the middle of the sandwich and didn't even spread them out and then drowned the sandwiches with mayo and mustard. We ended up with mushy, flat sandwiches. Very disappointed. \r \r We will never again eat at this Subway and will save our points for the Subway in Saratoga Springs as they know how to make a sandwich and press the right buttons on the register ;-)\r \r My recommendation for Subway, is to hire staff that appreciates a good sandwich and knows how to make one. Hire staff that know how to operate a register accurately. Don't let your employees ruin Subway's points system with their inaccuracies on the register. more

Rudest staff in the world 7/27/2010

I have been to this Subway a couple of times and have nothing good to say about this place. The first time I went and had a less than enjoyable experience, I thought it was just a fluke and decided to give them another try. The next (and last) experience was the worst fast-food experience I have ever had. I do not know what I did to deserve such an angry tone from the woman taking my order. After telling a few relatives and friends of my most recent experience, they told me that they have had similar experiences at this location and that the staff here are the rudest they've ever encountered. I went to the drive-thru and placed an order for a sandwich and heard nothing but silence for about two or three minutes (it has been my experience nearly every other time I have ordered food from a drive-thru, the person taking the order at least verifies that they heard what you said) and after I felt like I had given a more than reasonable amount of time for a reply (2-3 minutes), I said ""Hello?"" to see if anyone could hear me or if maybe the speaker wasn't working, and the woman taking my order came back on the speaker, angrily saying ""I'm still workin' on the bread!"" When taking my order for the type of toppings I wanted on the sandwich, this woman took an extremely rude, mocking tone with me when she informed me that this Subway did not carry the particular type of topping I'd asked for on the sandwich. I do not know why this woman exhibited such angry, rude, unprofessional behavior toward me, as I always try to be polite to people working in the fast food industry because I know their jobs can be difficult and don't pay well. I also don't understand why, in such a poor economy with high unemployment, someone would hire such a rude woman when surely there are other qualified candidates out there who would appreciate their job and treat customers with respect. After speaking with a few relatives and friends who have had similar experiences at this Subway, I am inclined to believe that poor treatment of customers is not at all unusual at this location, and as a result, I will take my business elsewhere because I see no reason to pay money to support an establishment that does not value its customers enough to treat them even with basic courtesy and respect. Cons: Rude, incompetent staff, long waits, run down, dirty more
