I just got back from a wonderful trip to OBX. Our last night at our house was less than great due to our choosing to place an order with Stone Oven. We were quoted a 50-60 minute window for delivery. Now I realize this is only a window and that it could be sooner or later. I called Stone Oven at the 60 minute window only to get an idea as to whether the pizza was en route. We were waiting for the pizza guy because we were in a large house and I didn't want to miss his knock at the door. At first she couldn't find the order, but then she came back and said she had found it: 4 pizzas (one everything w/o jalapenos). She said the driver was on his way and should be there ""any minute"". Okay, so I waited..and waited..and waited. Fifteeen minutes later I go back up to the top floor to call, only to have my husband tell me that someone from Stone Oven called to say he should be here ""any minute"". Ten minutes after that call the delivery guy shows. I'm a little miffed, but I can get over it. Unfortunately, (after an hour and a half wait) the order is wrong. The everything is loaded with jalapenos. I called to speak to the Manager to ask for a refund of just the one pizza. She refused the refund, quoting company policy and offered to deliver a new pizza. Frankly, I don't want to wait. We went back and forth and I told her I would dispute the bill, I had paid over the phone. She said she would check with ""someone"" and call me back. I knew when we hung up she wouldn't call back. After I get off the phone, I have a slice of pizza. They were all cold! Our group of 12 all agreed that it was the worst pizza we had ever had. Maybe had it been fresh & hot we would have liked it, but we will never know. After eating my cold slice of pizza I decide to call back. I get the ""Kitchen Manager"" who knows full well the story and agrees to the partial refund without incident. All I can say is that I run my own business, and would be mortified if anyone in my company put a customer through so much grief. I hope they read this and make the necessary adjustments!
Pros: None, sorry!
Cons: Too many to write here.
