Mothers Day Out is AWESOME 3/10/2011

I think all mothers should try the Mothers Day Out Program. Sterling Park Baptist Church is a great place for your child to attend. I am a working mother and I am so grateful for this program because I grew up going to this church every Sunday and I trust everyone involved in the program with all my heart and soul. My daugher has learned so much from SPBC and their program. She is already ahead of the game at the age of 2 and will be ahead of everyone is kindergarden when the time comes. I am so proud of her and very confident in SPBC and will recommend this program to anyone. more

So-so Experience 9/19/2005

I sent my oldest daughter through the Mothers Day Out Program at Sterling Park Baptist Church. While I though they took good care of her (I was never worried about the quality of the care) and the teachers were kind and friendly, the program is not a stand-out. The children didn't do anything particularly creative, VERY rarely played outside, and parents were definitely not encouraged to get involved--- for example, there was little communication with the parents (other than to scold them for driving to fast in the parking lot), parents were not allowed to volunteer in the classroom, and parents were not invited into the classroom or to the school for anything other than the annual Christmas play. The directors looked down upon parents as if they were better than them, and were not very friendly. On the up side, the program was a nice length-- four hours, including lunch, they had a 2-year old class (no potty training required) and you could pick the number of days yoru child attended, anywhere from 1 to 4 a week. more

STERLING PARK BAPTIST CHURCH MOTHERS DAY OUT 8/4/2005

THE STERLING PARK BAPTIST CHURCH MOTHERS DAY OUT sounded like a pretty good place for mothers to spend time alone, but when looking at the whole idea behind this I tihnk it takes less emphisis from the family aspect of religon and more individual. Otherwise go for it because everything else looked good! more
