Stephen's Plumbing & Heating

I used Stephens on 3 different occasions for 3 different problems my house had in the past year, and each time they showed up as promised, were able to complete the job in a timely manner, and charged less than the competitors. On one of these occasions I called out one of the major plumbing companies that advertise on the radio about their pleasant smelling plumbers and the amount they quoted me was outrageous! The major company wanted $1200 for a repair that Stephens did for $300!!! The plumber for the major company told me that I called them and their price is their price! I will never even call anyone but Stephens anymore! more

After using them a year ago to fix a gas leak at our fourplex, we ended up using Stephens plumbing after getting several ridiculous bids for trenching and relining/repairing our sewer line. more

Jose, Oscar, and Frank were extremely thorough, professional, and provided updates regularly throughout the process and the work. No job is too big for them. They were working 8ft underground for a week and patched everything up as if nothing happened. more

We have used Stephen's many times for heating, AC and plumbing at both our Home and a Rental House that used to be our home. Both are 5 BR, 4Bath houses with multiple heating/AC systems and plumbing to support a big family. I have always felt like Stephen's does a quality job, and does only what is needed. There have been a couple of times where they frankly could have taken advantage of me. But they didn't, what they recommended is what I think they would have done if it was their own home and if they were paying. I really appreciate that...They come quickly, they warn you if it's going to be overtime, and they do what they think is right. I trust them more than any other service business.\r It's a bit hard for me to rate this kind of service 5 stars, but I have zero reason not to. For 20 years they have always treated me like a valued customer that want my repeat business more than they want a quick buck. more

Yes, the rate is $90 for first 15 min and $124/hour their after (ouch) but after calling around this seems to be industry standard for large companies with receptionist and all. more

we payed 250 in labor for the 1.5 hour and 30 something in material cost. he did a good job and it was worth the expensive rate. more

I have worked with Stephens Plumbing for almost 17 years, first when I served on our condo board and the last 10 years for our single-family residence. They are reliable, knowledgeable, versatile and 100% professional in everything they do. We have used them for the following jobs:\r \r Install new water heater\r \r Repair leaking upstairs shower and repair ceiling on first floor which was damaged by the leak\r \r Install new sump pump\r \r Install backup battery sump pump system and install new outlet pipes.\r \r Excavate basement and perform all plumbing for new bathroom.\r \r Install new bathroom fixtures, including new shower.\r \r Yes, their labor charges are more expensive than some guy who's a friend of a friend or who happens to be driving through your neighborhood.\r \r But you know the work will be done right, it will fulfill all code requirements, and, if something goes wrong, there is an established company available 24/7 who will back up their work. I just spent 15 min talking to one of their plumbers due to some potential issues our recent backyard landscaping might be causing to a sump pump install they did for us 2 years ago. Got a lot of great information on how to take of it myself and it didn't cost me a penny.\r \r Plumbing is not something to mess around with or cut corners. The peace of mind I get from knowing the work was performed correctly and will last for years is worth every extra penny I pay to Stephens' more

Had to call them out late on a Sunday night for an emergency leak. They came out quickly, assessed the situation and shut off the leak within minutes. They provided all the equipment necessary, they would not even use our buckets or rags!! more
