Stauffer's is a Lincoln gem. It's locally owned, which is reason enough to give it a try, and the pie selection is huge!
This restaurant is a little slice of Americana. It's a small-town restaurant in the heart of Lincoln. The specials are always good and the pies are fantastic. The service is even like a small-town cafe: pretty businesslike and efficient. But it has to be because the place is always packed.
I like the burgers and the hot beef sandwich. The breakfasts are good but an over-easy egg order might end up with runny egg whites so go with over-medium.
You've got to try the pie.
