Best Honey Chicken ever! I go all the time. Great service and amazing food. They will alway have a table for you whenever . Amazing more

The service of South Garden has been steadily declining since the change of management about 5 years ago. We had the dirty dishes cart beside us in the walkway at the front of the restaurant with no one clearing up the dirty serving dishes piling up on our table. We had to ask repeatedly for napkins (which never came), water (my son drank all the water at the table and we asked 3 times each before the server decided to bring water). We asked for Jasmine tea, they gave us oolong and when i asked for Jasmine they argued that we already had. After all of that the server told us that we didn't give enough TIP (To Insure Prompt Service). The food is good but unless you take out I don't think this restaurant is worth it any more. :( more

If you are adventurous or curious about tasting true flavor of a culture, you must search for authentically prepared food. If you want to eat food real Chinese people eat, then you can have it at South Garden Chinese & dim sum restaurant.\r You can have everyday-americanized Chinese food here too, the one we are all used to eating everywhere If thats what u want.\r But here you look a little closer, and you will have awesome, new tastes and textures. They have a wonderful brunch on the weekends, they have small treats of all kinds that come by your table in push carts and most are small portions so u can try many different dishes. \r If ur not the adventurous kind, then by all means, they serve all the dishes we all are used to having. Deliciously prepared, in a very clean environment. \r Go try it! more

The "DIM SUM" Experience:\r \r The best time to go is Sunday's around 11:30 am when the everything is fresh, brought out in small qualities and the locals are there. Totally a different experience than Tropical Garden, they have the cultural atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Hot, fresh and excellent service and if you belong to "Groupon", an EXCELLENT value.\r \r Some items I always have:\r -Chrysanthemum tea\r -Sticky Rice-Spicy\r -Soy Noodles\r -Spicy Squid\r -and finish it off with a warm - Egg Custard Bun more

I've been getting take out from this place for as long as I can remember! Its the only Chinese restaurant I trust to make the best food! The food doesn't compare to any other. more

From your first moment of walking in, you just know, this is gonna be a "meh" experience. From the horrendously dull, coral-colored place-mats, to the overcrowded koi tank, this place wreaks of mediocrity. The service is rushed and the food is not paid attention to. The appetizers were mediocre. The beef we were served tasted as if it were cooked improperly. All in all, everything fell far below standards. As far as your money's worth is, skip this place. more

Juicy beef and glorious over-sized flat noodles are delicious with lots of "wok hay" (the taste chinese food gets from being cooked in super-hot woks). Very tasty FRESH dim sum is always a must at South Garden. more
