Best

Went to Shooters Station for the first time this week and had avery pleasant experience. I was looking for a gun specifically for my wife. The staff was very professional, helpful...

Worst

During my military service, I would come home on leave and really enjoyed shooting at this range. The quality was superior for indoor lanes and they have a great selection of fire...

Terrible. Cop haters will like that they are not law enforcement friendly. Every dealing, both personally and within local departments. Terrible service. Not helpful at outfitting. These people can look you in the face an not even blink while they screw you. more

I love this place!! I did not know how to use a pistol, and received excellent training from Allen. So much so that with just one more practice I qualified at 236 to get my CHL. Felicia Davis taught the CHL class and I would highly recommend her because she is knowledgeable and prepared! The staff are so friendly and remember you when you come back in. This is my place from now on!! more

Great experience 12/16/2011

Went to Shooters Station for the first time this week and had avery pleasant experience. I was looking for a gun specifically for my wife. The staff was very professional, helpful, experienced and listened to exactly what I was looking for. After looking at several guns we bought the STI Electra. What a great looking gun. A few days later I returned to purchase another gun that I saw for myself and again the staff was excellent and very pleasant to deal with. The owner, Dan, helped me and you could not ask for a friendlier person to deal with. I would recommend anyone to visit this establishment and you to will be treated as I was. I will return to buy the Shadow in the near future. more

Was pretty good... 10/16/2011

During my military service, I would come home on leave and really enjoyed shooting at this range. The quality was superior for indoor lanes and they have a great selection of firearms. I even bought a very nice Sig P220 there and took it back with me for use on tour overseas. The staff was professional and very educated. However recently I got out and returned to shoot and the experience was not the same. Coming from an extensive military combat background I am no stranger to firearms and always conduct any firing excercice, whether for training or liesure, with respect. Since I did not have a badge at the range some of the employee's unfortuneatly did not seem to think so. With all due respect to law enforcement, I have seen some officers I would never want in a firefight with me, so I am not certain that is a good standard to judge proficiency by. A junior staff member at Shooters Station literally hovered over me like a range master the entire time I shot which had not been the case before and did not seem to be necessary for all the other shooters. Also, instead of being relational or at least constructive his manner was domineering and snide. After repeated interuptions, I gathered the boy just wanted to pick on someone or was having a bad day since none of my actions were characteristically unsafe or not in keeping with range rules. I left fairly perturbed and I have not been back to shoot but did go with a friend of mine who wanted to make her first firearm purchase and attend a CHL class. After reviewing the quality of information she was given I recommended she attend a course elsewhere. All that being said, I appreciate safe ranges and do hope they speak up about safety when necessary. If that had been the case in my recent situation, I would gratefully accept the criticism but the employee was just jonesing for some authority and disrespect is something I never have much patience for, especially where it is undeserved. I will be going back again in hopes that it was a one time occurence and look forward to reporting good results. more

Shooter's Station AWESOME 10/2/2011

I bought my first pistol at Shooter's from Guy he was very informative and had the best price in town. Since then I have been using the range every Saturday. Shooter's is a FIRST CLASS operation. I will be telling everybody about this place. J.A. Conroe more

Shooter's Station a pleasure to shoot at 8/16/2011

I am a regular visitor to Shooter's Station, and I have never had a bad experience in their store. For that matter, I have never seen anyone treated rudely by any of the employees. These guys run a very safe range, and if you are not abiding by the range rules, something will be said to you. Would you want it any other way? The shop is always clean, and they have a huge inventory of guns. It you ARE treated rudely, give Danny (the owner) a call. I am sure he would want to hear about it, since so many people are criticizing his store.... more

Don't Go 1/2/2011

I'm an experienced shooter and licensed NRA instructor. These guys are giving advice to beginners that are down right dangerous. Additionally, they are rude to people. It's not a very welcome environment. Also, they are expensive. To shoot is cost $12 dollars an hour. That's not bad but even with two shooters using the same stall it was $24. Most places give a substantial discount if you're using the same stall. Not this place. So if you do go and are shooting with two shooters, just get two different stalls. It's more room for you. Also, you can buy the same targets at Walmart for about a 1/3 of the price. I won't be going back here. more

Hostile and Rude 12/30/2009

I'd read good reviews about Shooters Station and decided to attend their CHL class along with some people from my networking group. However, after one trip to the establishment , the entire group will be taking their business elsewhere. \r \r Rather than teaching gun safety and usage, the employee was very antagonistic. The staff is neither helpful nor friendly, but hostile and rude. Take your business and money elsewhere. Pros: Indoor Cons: Rude and Hostile more
