Scrappin' With Mommy & Me

Scrappin with Mommy & Me is wonderful store to explore your options. There are so many papers and embellishments to choose from so your options are endless. There is also a die cutting room with well over 200 die cuts to choose from and 5 or more different alphabets. These come in handy especially for school projects. I enjoy leisurely walking through the store. The staff is so willing to help you find just what you need to make your project look like at masterpiece. They have good prices, at least 10% off retail, and you can also earn a higher discount up to 10% more. This is a great incentive. I also enjoy the selection of classes they have to offer from quilling and paper piecing to altering and mini albums. They also offer classes by Anna Griffin which are adorable. There are almost always positives and negatives to stores especially chains such as Michaels and JoAnns, but you really cannot beat the homely atmosphere that Scrappin' with Mommy & Me provides. more

they never seem to make me feel welcome when I am there. I am always self conscience when I walk in there. However, I do see that they go out of their way for other customers and are super friendly to them. Now, they are never really rude me, just not very helpful and act bothered when I ask a question. They don't greet me, I have to find things on my own, and they are in a hurry to check me out. And when I bring MY kids, they seem to watch them like a hawk (although my girls are pretty quiet). Usually if I HAVE to go there, I'm in and out really fast. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel particularly comfortable browsing around for a certain amount of time there. more

Excellent selection of products, very nicely laid out. The store is organized really well also, it is very easy to find any product you are looking for, and the staff is happy to help you when you are looking for a product. However sometimes they can be unfriendly and act like you are hasseling them when you ask a question, but it is rare, has only happened to me once or twice. Most of the staff are wonderful and friendly and even remember your name, but the owner in particular can be pretty standoffish. more
