Gorgeous Wedding Flowers!!! :) 6/5/2008

One of our friends recommended the San Gabriel Florist to us. We couldn't have been happier! They definitely deserve the reputation that they have earned over the years. We absolutely love their wedding florist - Dorothy. We brought in a couple of pictures, and she was able to design wedding flowers that were similar to those in the bridal magazines. She did all of this with limited notice (less than a month)! She went over and beyond our expectations and made sure that our flowers were within our price range (which was much appreciated). We only have wonderful things to say about Dorothy and the work she did. My bouquet had over 2 dozen red roses, and Dorothy added pearls-which made it even more elegant. You will not be disappointed if you use Dorothy to design your flowers. more

Wonderful Selection at San Gabriel Nursery 11/26/2005

San Gabriel Nursery has been around longer than I have been born and is an essential part of the community. Stretching a whole block on San Gabriel Boulevard, San Gabriel Nursery offers the largest selection of flowers, trees, seeds, and fertilizers. Gardening advocates always find themselves wondering the mass property for the best prices on whatever they want to plant. more

Wow, what a huge selection! Flowers and potted plants and all of your gardening needs. For their location, this place is pretty darn huge! They have a nice website that gives you a good preview of whats in store, and their plants are ALWAYS in great condition. None of the cheap stuff. more

San Gabriel Nursery Is A Gardening Enthusiast's Paradise! 5/23/2005

San Gabriel Nursery is the best nursery in the San Gabriel Valley. I go to a lot of nurseries, so I should know! They have a huge selection of roses, perennials, annuals, trees, sun-loving and shade-loving plants. They also have a large selection of vegetables, seeds, seasonal bulbs, and houseplants. If that's not enough, they also have a florist and a gift shop. For your shopping convenience, you get to relive your childhood by carting around your newly found plant treasures in cute red wagons. Children will love the small pond filled with turtles and koi. The customer service is helpful, fast, and friendly. This is truly a terrific nursery!   • In addition to the many varieties of plants that we purchase from premier nurseries from all over California we are also a traditional nursery where we specialize in growing azaleas, camellias, gardenias, hydrangeas, Pachira aquatica, "Good Luck Money Tree", Michelia champaca Alba, bonsai, Nandina domestica Filamentosa, poinsettias and other general nursery stock. In the 1970's we hybridized the Mission Bell azalea named for its characteristic bell-shaped flower and for its origin in the “City with a Mission”. Established in 1923, we have been serving Southern California for over 80 years. Founded in 1923, San Gabriel Nursery & Florist is a family-owned and operated business that was incorporated under its present name in 1955. Our nursery specializes in carrying a large selection of many varieties of plants including those that are rare or hard to find. We have a two-acre retail nursery featuring a complete garden supply center and full service florist. Three generations of family members along with an extensive staff, continue the tradition of providing quality nursery stock at reasonable prices.
