I am not the best of patients, mainly due to fear of the dentist. When I moved my family up here 7 years ago I spent the first two years trying different dentists (while unfortunately really needing a lot of work done). I really cringed at having to find a new dentist that I liked much less could bear (again - fear of dentists). I was referred to Neda from a co-worker and have been a huge fan ever since. Her costs were significantly lower for the major work I needed when I first met her and she was able to advise me well on the actual scope of work that I really needed (which was less than the last two dentists had told me must get done). Neda has a small practice and has always made the time to patiently work with me through each appointment. I really appreciate the fact that she covers each problem area and outlines critical, medium, and long term areas to watch while also helping me understand the ramifications of my choices for care. For those needing TLC and don't want to feel rushed for such personal care, do yourself a favor and visit this local professional. The staff was friendly, but I was disappointed in the overall experience. First, finances - I felt they were trying to sell me procedures I would have to pay for out of pocket (not covered by my insurance) throughout my entire appointment. Also, it turned out my insurance had changed, and they weren't on the preferred provider list, therefore I had to pay increased ""out of network"" fees. My own fault for not checking if they were in network, however, when I received the bill, they wrote a note explaining this as my insurance company having uncommon payment standards, implying it would be the same wherever I went instead of explaining it was because they were out of network. She has been the worst dentist that I have ever seen. I found her through my MIL and have been very disappointed. She is extremely expensive, her front staff lack the professionalism that I expect from a doctor's office, she is unwilling to make payment plans for when people get in a bind, her cleanings are average at best, and she missed two cavities that I had. I will never go back to her office again and have moved my entire family's accounts to another great dentist in Bellevue.
