Best Open Mic 11/7/2009

I pop into this quaint little corner wine bar on the weekends sometimes for the great wine. But, to my surprise, I was missing out on the open mic night on Mondays all this time. These guys are fun and really encourage performers or ""Want to be Performers"" to give it a go. My girls and I had a fabulous time and now its a regular spot for us. I don't remember the guy's name who runs it but they welcome everyone seemingly like family so you won't have trouble getting to know anyone. Pros: Fun, Music, Wine, hidden gem, open mic more

Best Romantic Spot 9/25/2006

This place is beautiful from head to toe. Great service, friendly owners, fantastic wines, great eats. This is probably the best place for a first date that I have ever been to. Webster Wine Bar looks like a hole in the wall compared to this place. All the look and feel of a trendy wine bar minus the snobby service. I swear by this place for anyone looking for a new romantic spot. Pros: Ambience!, Friendly Down to Earth Service, Inexpensive for a Wine Bar Cons: Kind of far from Chicago more
