I didn't find this little gem until after years of living in this area, and it's only ten minutes from where I live. This is the only Japanese restaurant I know of for may miles around.
This is an independent restaurant where your meal is cooked right at your table, much like the Benihana chain restaurants. The Benihana chefs are much better at the entertainment part of the meal, but the food here is just as good.
You can get a pretty good multi-course steak and lobster meal for around $25, and most lunch meals are around $8 - $12.
If you have the opportunity to ask for your choice or cooks, ask for Tee.
