Technician Junior was very knowledgeable and worked diligently on getting rid of our blockage. If you need plumber service and your in the Burlington, VT area I'd call Roto Rooter. They will show up anytime day or night and help you out!!!! 5 stars more

Called the Williston office at noon on a Saturday and two hours later got a plumber in S.Burlington. Excellent service prompt, knowledgeable, and polite. Halsey was great he got the job time in no time and taught me a few things along the way. Price is fair for the work and have no complaints. Definitely will user Roto-Rooter in the future! more

Sorry Roto Rooter, but not with employees like that 10/11/2011

I've used this Roto Rooter before and had excellent service-fast, professional, reasonably priced, but this last time has evolved into a nightmare. They sent out Brian Everton (#22), and I have to believe something has happened with this guy since the previous reviews I have read about him elsewhere. We had a water heater, about 14 years old, that needed repair, and we told Roto Rooter this. First, Brian sat out in his vehicle for a half hour (engine running) reading his manual about water heaters. Then he came in, tinkered around, said he didn't know how to fix it, and gave us the option of him coming back to try again, but billed another $195. Um, no that's ok because you're not going to learn to fix water heaters in the interim are you? He then proceeded to talk my SO's ear off for over a half hour about how much he hated his employers, how they were screwing him over, oh and he's an amazing fisherman, etc. Completely unprofessional. Dishwasher removal and installation 8/18/2010

I bought a dishwasher from a local store promising removal and installation... all they did was drop it off and tell me I needed a plumber. I called Roto Rooter and John came to my home. He evaluated the problem and gave me a set price, the work ended up being much more involved thanks to have an ancient dishwasher... but he kept working at it and answered all my questions along the way. He was polite and courteous and he cleaned up his workspace. Nice to experience great customer service! more

1840 House 4/16/2010

We recently moved into a house built in 1840, and are in the process of redoing the bathroom. The plumbing had to be completely redone, and not knowing any plumbers in the area, we called roto-rooters. Brian and Corey (22/12), got the job done in two days! 1840 House 4/16/2010

Brian Everton (#22) helped us out by cleaning the drain stack and the drain line out to the main which had completely stopped up. He arrived within about an hour of our call, was very courteous and professional, and provided answers to all of our questions thoroughly. The ONLY reason I'm giving him 4 stars instead of 5 is that he left the truck idling for the entire service call (2 hours). Otherwise, we were very happy with his service. The total bill was $350, which included $325 for the pipe snaking, and $25 for a new cover for our house trap. more

Saturday, 2/27/10......After a relaxing getaway with my daughter we returned home to find a fair bit of water in our basement. Turns out our drainage pipe was clogged. Called roto-rooter who couldn't have responded quicker. Thank you! Within a very short time Kevin was at our doorstop. Kevin tried to first fix the problem with a less expensive option - which I appreciated very much. When that didn't work he informed me of the next step and also informed me of the cost up-front. He quickly went to get the truck he needed and within a short time had the drain pipe unclogged - yea! Kevin was quick to show up, professional and courteous in dealing with me, knowledgeable in my available options and finally, was quick to resolve the problem. I would certainly call roto-rooter again if I have another problem (hopefully not though!). I am also much more likely to call roto-rooter for a regular maintenance on this pipe to hopefully avoid this issue in the future. Thank you roto-roote more
