Sunday evening, we had a disaster that resulted in the downstairs toilet overflowing and leaking water all over the first floor of our house. We'd turned the water to the toilet off and cleaned everything, but we still had the problem that the toilet didn't work. We called Roto-Rooter Sunday evening to help. The dispatch agent was very helpful and called me several times to update me on the tech's progress. He arrived as soon as he could and got right to work, easily diagnosing the problem. Throughout the process of fixing it, the tech was very polite, informative, and professional. With the consent of the office, he even let me view the cause of the problem, some roots in our sewer pipe, on the camera scope. That is usually a charge of over $300, but he did it for free. All in all, the service was great. He was finished as quickly as he could be. And best of all, he understood when I refused the more expensive (but preventative) treatment and didn't give me a hard sell. I appreciated Roto-Rooter coming out late on a Sunday night to rescue us. I will use them again... if I need to.
