And forget about friendly service; the owner wants you in and out so he can turn a quick buck, that's it! Pros: Tasty, Fast Cons: Small portions, Not friendly, Expensive more

I've got this place on speed-dial 1/11/2005

This place is one of the reasons I love Old Town. I basically stick to the half-chicken with rice, but it's really delicious for such a simple dish. The Japanese mustard is really yummy too. The waiters and owners are incredibly nice, and know us so well that they don't even hand us menus anymore. As soon as we sit down our drinks are waiting for us! now that's service... Pros: Delicious, Friendly service, Reasonably priced more

Super Restaurant and Service 10/27/2004

My first experience at Rotisserie Chicken of California was spectacular! Our waiter, Andre, was terrific, and kept us well supplied with refreshments and rounds of superb food. The chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked, with tasty garlic sauce, rice and veggies. The serving sizes were very adequate -- large enough for take home. We will try to leave enough room for dessert next time! Pros: Andre, Quality food, Reasonably priced more

I dont normally eat chicken in restaurants, but this is the one exception!! It is so juicy and flavorful, the skin is perfectly crispy, and the service is wonderfull! We drive 40 miles just to eat here and the trip is well worth it. The spices and sauces are a work of genius! Pros: Excellent taste!!, great atmosphere, great service more

Awesome chicken. I understand they have to pay Old Town rent now, so I don't mind chipping in a bit more for a good dinner. My favorite is the chicken bababooey, smothered in their super-spicy sauce. Go for all white meat and a cold asahi dark to wash it down. Aside from the quality of the food, I enjoy coming here because it's a bit quieter than some of the Old Town madhouses. Nice place to meet up for dinner before a movie, or before hitting someplace noisier. Pros: great chicken more

Good Chicken, Bad Business! 7/16/2002

Rotisserie Chicken has really good chicken, too bad the owners are CHEAP! They cut their chicken breasts in half, they spread the rice and their fries out flat on your plate to make it seem like you have a lot, but you really don't. They charge you $2 for soda and tea refills in a day where NO ONE is charging for refills, and heaven forbid you want to order something off the lunch menu for dinner! They will charge you $1.50 even though the portion size has not changed! What kind of business are they running? Rotisserie Chicken, you don't fool me! I'd rather go to California Chicken Cafe any day! Pros: good chicken Cons: portions R laughable, unnecessary charges, no free refills 4 pop more

This became a one of our company lunch stops when I was working in Old Town. They have good food, and it is priced right. I generally get a chicken sandwich, but they have a variety of chicken dishes to choose from. Pros: Good Food more

I've visited here for lunch many times, I love their chicken. The meat is tender and comes right off the bone. They also have a selection of hot sauces that make it even better. I highly recommend giving them a try. more

Perfect lunch location 5/16/2002

You can't find a better place in Old Pas for lunch. The price and selection are just right, there's always plenty of seating available and the food is incredible. I'd suggest a menu choice, but they're all too good. For value, it's the 1/2 chicken for sure, but you really can't beat the taste of the sandwhiches or the pork tonkatsu.
