I had a feeling this was going to be a horrible experience. I called the day before to make a ""New Patient"" appointment and was very specific as to what I wanted done. The receptionist was somewhat rude over the phone and I felt rushed to give her information, or ask any questions. \r \r Well, I would classify this appointment as ""the biggest waste of my time"". The receptionists are very rude. They are not personable at all. I was greeted with a big and nasty ""can I help you?""... Well, HELLO TO YOU TOO!! I waited 45minutes for my appointment. When they assistant called my name, all she said to me was walk all the way to the back of the hall into that room... No HELLO, no nothing, I don't even know what her name was..\r \r I saw Dr. Joy Ziemann, she was polite. But, I felt very rushed through the appointment. After having poured out all of my intimate health concerns with her, I didn't receive any rapport in regards to my concerns. That's all I could say, the appointment with the doctor didn't last more that 5 minutes. It just seemed like she didn't care much about her patient.\r \r Check-out was ridiculous. There were mean-faced assistance, looked like they were ready to knock someone out. And, my co-pay was collected, with no word in exchange whatsoever. She was too busy talking to everyone else around her about some stupid paper cutter that didn't work. I purposely, stood there starring at her after she was done taking my payment. But, she just walked away and didn't say anything at all.\r \r Hmm.. I kind of needed to make an appointment, and had she looked over my paperwork instead of playing around with the papercutter she would have known that.\r \r But, I dont care about making another appointment with that facility, because I will never bring my business to them, and I hope that you all don't either. Please, hear me when I say... this is the WORST office! Oh, and I never got my ""yearly check up done"". Absolutely nothing was done! Pros: You can get an appointment fast. Cons: Rude and rushed service. Horrible! more

I see Dr.Allen Alleman at Federal Way Family and I love him. I have never had a hard time getting an appt. with him. If it is same or next day I may not get to see him, but in the years I have been going I have been to three of the doctors there and I love them all. The Medical Assistants there are very nice; I know of one lady who has been there for a very long time and you can tell she loves her job and the people she cares for. There is art work from all the children who are seen there on the walls so I know kids love it there. There are toys in the rooms for your children can play as you wait for the doctor to come (I think you may have to ask if that room is open to go in) I see to get the toys every time and I don't have children. I have been in health care for seven years and see a lot of doctors and clinics. As a young woman (26) in a Medical Assisting class I would say the care there is one of the best. This isn't a real high tech place but the care is top of the line and down to earth. When the doctors talk you know what they are talking about. This really helps if you have something because there are some big words for things that a lot of doctors use and it will worry people if you don't know what thay are talking about. Please check it out...its worth it more

I wish that I could write a review regarding the physicians at Federal Way Family Physicians. However I never got past the rude receptionists. When I called to schedule a first time appointment I was treated as though I was inconveniencing the receptionist by bringing my new business to their office. I gave all of my information, and scheduled an appointment for the following day. However I was hung up on when I tried to ask for directions. I wasn't even told the name of the doctor I was scheduled to see. \r \r Upset with this customer service I called back a few hours later to cancel and was treated with the same disrepectful attitude from a different receptionist at the same office! I explained that I wouldnt be able to make the appt time and without another word the receptionist said ""I will cancel your apptointment"", then immediatly hung up the phone. \r \r Needless to say I will not be going to this facility. I can not speak for the Physicians there but the front office customer service was horrible. Not a place I choose to bring my business. more
