Let's face it, there are times when we all want to visit a store which stocks 'adult items' i.e. amorous aids which one can't find in the local drugstore. Most of us already have a built-in embarrasment to walking in those places and are so afraid of being seen by friends or workmates that we act like professional spys approaching a dead drop while entering. Additionally, many adult oriented stores are in locations which seem dangerous. Le S#x* Shoppe is a clean and well-lit place which almost could be an edgy isle of a Victoria's Secret. The times I went there were between midnight to 1:00am and each time I went the store had quite a few customers. I found the employees to be friendly and helpful. A big plus is the safety of its location in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. I think it is a positive addition to Pasadena's Old Town and speaks highly of the forward thinking there!\r \r (footnote) *the review parser wouldn't allow this word! This TINY little store in the middle of Old Town Pasadena is an anomaly amongst the chic dining restaurants and cool clothing and home stores. How does it even stay in business? I never see people inside the store...and the two times I actually went in, the store was poorly lit (surprise surprise) and they had very little in the way of interesting things to buy. Maybe they're still around because the space is too small for any other type of business. more

Was in town to buy some fun stuff for my sister's bachelorette party gift bags. Naturally, I was checking any possible item that may be fun, but of course, I was followed around like I was going to either steal something or mess up their products! I ended up buying some stuff there anyway, but I mean, they DO want to sell their stuff, right? So, why not let me take my time to look around the store so I know what I really need to get? It looks like a store... but I'm confused if the sales people just want you to look around really quickly and then go away! Especially, in OLD town, Pasadena.....it serves no purpose being there! Cons: Good luck finding parking! Store is small and cramped. more

Honestly folks, we're all adults (well, we should at least over 21.) The staff seem more like security guards. They're not friendly, nor are they helpful. The people who frequent this half baked store are the curious Pasadena folk that are killing time between movies who walk in, point and giggle at merchandise. And last but not least...this place is so not convenient. There is absolutely no parking. It seems its just a novelty shop that opened up for some of the conservative Pasadena crowd. Pros: None. Cons: Poor Service, Poor Selection, Poor Atmosphere more
