Lakewood is the hands down the epitome of customer service. They took care of all my jewelry needs and they did it with a smile. I got me a beautiful wedding set from here. Along with the fantastic band they helped me picked out for my husband, I was extremely happy. I even got a free gift to make me feel even more beautiful on my wedding day. This group of people treat me like family. They know my kids and my grandkids. Very very thankful for this group of people who helped me have a fantastic wedding AND reestablish my credit! more

To all of you who is reviewing this, just would like to recommend you to a best jewelers which is called Romano's. Ive been to every jewelery place you could ever think of, but this one something special about it that made me come to it over and over for the past 5 years, and guess what??? every time I get treated better than the previous visit. Every one is friendly in there and they really don't make you feel like you going to a retail store, but to home. You really got to check it out. more

Been shopping at this store for years and bought a bunch of nice pieces.... My latest piece is a black and white diamond pendant. LOl.... My account can never go to zero balance cause I'm always adding somthing to it. more

My fiance and I just purchased my ring from Romano's jewelers in Lakewood. We had been shopping around for a long time and knew what we wanted and how much we wanted to spend. We got a great deal!! They had what i wanted and even let me modify the center diamond for a princess cut diamond for no extra charge! I will be recommending this store to everyone I know!! more

I have had a terrible experience with this jewelry store. My fiance bought me a pair of $1000 earrings here that appraised for $300; then I tried returning them and they told me they did not have a return policy, and I had 30 days to exchange them. We were able to find a pair of earrings that looked decent, and we exchanged them. I payed to make the earrings longer since my ear holes are kind of big(the earrings were big enough to NOT be pulled out from the back though). Anyways, I had the earrings for about 3 days when one of them fell out of my ear. I later found the screwn on backing in my car, and the earring about 10 mins later. It turned out that the backing they gave me was way too big for the earring, and I was able to push it halfway through the bar before actually screwing it on. I once again asked for my fiance's money back, and not only was I called neglegent for loosing the earring by one of the salesman, but the manager started blaming me for losing the earring and told me I must have not screwed it on correctly. He offered me a whole new settings, but I am terribly afraid of taking a risk with this company. Thanks to them I was almost out $1200, and I was the one who had to take responsibility for it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS JEWELRY STORE! YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR LOW QUALITY JEWELERY!!!!!! more

i took my uncle's to lakewood mall.they're just visiting from L.V. for the weekend.one of the sales person approach one of my uncle,he said they have a big sales.so my uncle's went in,they were speking the same language.so for sure u know they understand each other.then he called the financing guy which speaks the same language.he took my uncle's ID and CC.but i guess my uncle's didn't have a good credit to get approved.but the financing guy told my uncle's don't worry about it ,i'll get u guys a good deal and we'll use the ""RESERVE"".he use that word without explaining to them what's the ""RESERVE"".but my uncle's told him we don't have any money to pay it cash and said will come back next time.So the financing guy said...DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT YOU'RE NOT PAYING ANYTHING,WILL USE THE ""RESERVE"".both of my uncle's was very excited to purchase a ring.like i said this workers r very nice and talking to my uncle's like they know them for years.they sign the papers without explaining to them bec. they were having conversation while they asking them to sign.one of my uncle needs to come back to pick up the ring cuz they need to resize it.so,after we left the mall.i asked my uncle how much is their monthly,they said i don't know we never really talk about it.so i was curious,i looked at the papers they gave them and i saw a reciept that charge in their cc.i told them that it was charge in their cc.they didn't know about it.so i did,i called them and talked to the financing guy.and ask him WHAT IS THE MEANING OF RESERVE?he told me is the overdraft from my uncle's bank.i was like telling him....u told my uncle's DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT YOU'RE NOT PAYING ANYTHING,WILL USE THE RESERVE...you're talking about their overdraft,of course they going to pay for it.i had to deal with them over the weekend noone can help us reverse the transaction even the corporate and ignoring my calls.i guess this how they make business.remember they victim 2 senior citizen,a 72 years old and a 68 years old who just had a stroke this year and not working right now.and one of my uncle never picked up the ring.i can't really trust anyone even your own kind.
