I have been seeing both Dr. Halki and Dr. Kieser for different issues and have had nothing but the best service from both of them. I would highly recommend either of them to give...

Worst

These are of the most arrogant, dishonest, lacking in moral integrity,of any surgeons or doctors I have ever intrusted myself and my care to. It is so bad it goes beyond disbelief....

Reno Orthopaedic Clinc 6/21/2011

These are of the most arrogant, dishonest, lacking in moral integrity,of any surgeons or doctors I have ever intrusted myself and my care to. It is so bad it goes beyond disbelief. It goes right into what a fiction novel is made of. You all are spookey. They bring true shame to their profession. I have been informed that I am not the only patient that you have mistreated. I pray and hope that I will be your last victim. You are all dispicable. To those of you who read this, I appologize for not listing names. It's only because this is possibly going to turn into a court case and untill the dust settles ,their names must be kept anonomus.I will tell you what they did though. One of their hip and knee specialists operated on my broken ankle. That is like sending your Mercedes Benze to a Harley Davidson mecanic. He wasn't qualified, knew it and operated on me anyway. If that wasn't bad enough, I was told to do my follow up appointments with another one of their doctors who holds a clinic in my town once a month, instead of seeking a local specialist on my own.Weird thing #2 I go to my 1st follow up appt. and the Dr. says that I'm healing very well and then he orders me to begin PT. They removed my leg splint, and sutures, not to be replaced by a cast, but by PT instead . Weird thing #3, 2weeks after that,I received a call from the clinic in Reno and they're telling me ""that I have to get back to Reno right now, that I have broken my hardware, and that I have to have surgery now!"" It has to be done now because the Dr. is going to be going on vacation, and will be gone for 2 weeks.Weird thing #4, I woke up in the OR, sitting up on the table,I won't elaborate on everything that I remember that happened.I want to save it for a future book I want to write.Just know that it was freaky, and moraly scandulous, and very illegal., it will make your skin crawl, and the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. And as if all of this wasn't bad enough, after 6 months, they want me to have yet another surgery to repair their mistakes. R-E-A-L-L-Y- You've got to be kidding! A ll I can say to you guys of ROC is that you let your arrogance get the best of you this time. This story will be continued, and it will be told for all to know just who and what kind of monsters you are.For any of you who have received a referral to go to these guys, think about it very seriously. I would not refer my worst enemy to them!\r I have found another Dr. who was absolutely floored by what he saw in my x-rays and what I told him. I am now in his care. He is helping to restore the trust that you monsters of ROC took from me. Not laughing in Elko,NV.\r FRIDAY 01/13/12 Update... Just had another surgery last Friday to remove all the gastly hardware that Dr Lundeen installed last Feb. Unfortunately for me I wiil most likely be faced with crippling arthritis in the not too distant future, as my surgeon informed me that he could see the formation of arthritis as he removed the hardware. All I can say is... Dr Lundeen really, 3 metal plates and 14 screws? what did I ever do to make you have to torture me? A word to unsatisfied pt. of august 2011. Contact me at nsherlock@att....,not com I would love to talk to you, and anyone else who has an interest.\r \r more

terrible 1/11/2010

Unless you have a broken bone that is actually sticking out of your skin don't waste your time. They put you into a pa, who acts like a gate keeper for the practice. So if you want to see a medical doctor find another practice. I have been to 3 appointments so far, never once have I been allowed to see an actual MD, the pa has ordered over $5000 worth of tests for me and given me three different diagnosis', but never a chance to speak to an actual MD. \r Waste of time at least 2 hours for every appointment and a waste of money. \r Pros: easy to find Cons: everything else more

Impersonal, Unprofessional and Just Plain Rude 12/4/2009

I was acutely injured and subsequently referred to Reno Orthopedic. A week after my initial consult I was informed, in the most contemptible manner, that I was out of their network and they could not serve me. The uncompassionate staff refused to help refer me to another physician that could perform the surgery, which was a STAT order. They were unapologetic and rude beyond reason. I will NEVER go there again and for that matter I would NEVER wish their service upon my worst enemy. Cons: Most UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF I have ever dealt with more
