Rang and ordered a pizza and a portion of buffalo wings, quoted on the phone $18 wings. Received the food and the total bill was $44. Buffalo sauce wasn't even on the wings and it wasnt even buffalo sauce. Pizza wasn't great either! Avoid this place if your looking for quality and price. more

We were seated and served very quickly 6/22/2011

Stine and I came here for a small bite to eat and ordered a bowl of Soup du Jour to share along with a cone of fries. Since there was a bit of a wait we shared a bit of small talk with our cashier, which was trying really hard to kill time- it only made us laugh which was nice, considering how stressful it was parking post holiday season at the mall. We were seated and served very quickly, our waiter knew we were sharing a bowl of the soup but gave me a cup of soup so we didn't have to share. He was so kind to do so! The soup was tomato based, had cuts of chicken and pieces of angel hair pasta. Simple, savory and delicious. It comes with a baked slice of bread topped with cheese to a fine crisp which serves as a great crouton. The fries are always delicious and an easy entree to order. It comes to the table, hot and crispy along with a delicious Kalamata dipping sauce. You can ask for ranch if you don't like olives. more

It's an ideal place to go to talk to a friend 6/17/2011

It's an ideal place to go to talk to a friend, to work on your laptop, to kill time. I wouldn't go there to drink the coffee by itself or to eat the food. The coffee is not the best, and neither are the baked goods. The cakes are a bit on the buttery side. But the variety of the food is good, if you are hungry you can always find something. more

I have a really bad selfish 6/17/2011

I have a really bad selfish tendency to not review places that I absolutely LOVE. I like to keep these places on the DL, but I'll get over it for regal-cafe-pizzeria. because they deserve their props. They do everything perfect! I've been racking my brain to even list one thing I don't like about this place and all I could come up with is that sometimes their wood door is hard to open when it's cold out. That's it! Everything else is perfect! The only thing that stops me from visiting them everyday is the fact that they're on the top of Queen Anne and my butt is too lazy to hike up the counterbalance everyday. more

Regal-Cafe-Pizzeria Great Summer 6/17/2011

Regal-cafe-pizzeria is a great summer, day-time cafe camp-out. Fun staff, wonderful coffee and treats, this cafe offers a variety of seating options (both indoor and outdoor) while playing fun music. It is great to sit here, work, study, read a book and watch the neighborhood congregate, pass by and get a great cup of coffee. more

Regal-Cafe-Pizzeria is One Of My Favorite Places 6/16/2011

Regal-cafe-pizzeria is One of my favorite places Grab a cart and have a blast wandering around taking in the smells, trying to make a decision on what you are going to take home. They have everything. Baked goods. A huge selection of cheeses at good prices. Cooked meals that are always really really good. Always. Nova lox, phenomenal! Best chopped liver, ever. Homemade. Homemade. Homemade. I LOVE the Horseradish scallion cream cheese. SO GOOD. Making a pit stop here is part of my Friday night ritual.Um, and some of my weeknights, weekdays, pretty much any time I can get to it, too. more

The Ultimate Bagel 6/16/2011

The ultimate bagel can be found here. Seriously.., the way they should be as they are the consistency of exactly what a NY bagel should be! Perfect dough, boiled in salty water to perfection, then baked so perfectly that they are crunchy on the bottom and chewy on the inside. Not too large, like Essa (which are ridiculous). Just the perfect size. MMMMMmmmmm!!! more

About For Regal-Cafe-Pizzeria 6/10/2011

Finally!!! I got to try what all the hype was about for regal-cafe-pizzeria!! The food here was amazing, healthy, and DELICIOUS!!! The portions were pretty big, so don't think you are paying an additional dollar sign to your lunch for a small size plate. I came out of there stuffed and satisfied. I came in around 11:20am, and 20 minutes later, there was a line out of the door. Just in time to beat the rush, I thought to myself. more

I always come here 6/10/2011

I always come here; browse the menu, think of ordering some other entree, but always end up with the nicoise. And that's pretty rare for me, as i always want to try something different if i ever go back to the same place to eat again. The salmon; grilled to perfection...really juicy and flaky.. sprinkled with herbs on top. The leaves; consisted of mixed greens, all crisp and fresh. And these two together with the sweetness of the sliced cherry tomatoes (which i dont eat, but eat with nicoise), the saltiness and the kick of the capers and the olives, the crunch of the string beans and onions, the wedged slices of hard boiled egg, and the tanginess of the viniagarette just all come together and burst in your mouth the delightful flavor of what a healthy salad should be. Seriously, this place is just great. If you're tired of eating mediocre food court food and don't want to leave the mall, come here. more

The Oatmeal Scones or The Chocolate 6/8/2011

I hadn't realized I hadn't yet reviewed this location. It's the only one I've actually set foot in. As far as I am concerned they can do no wrong, whether it be the corn/cherry scones, the oatmeal scones or the chocolate things for breakfast or the interesting, fine textured rolls we enjoy at dinner. I can't remember the specifics of the variety of baked goods we've tried over the course of several visits, but I can say there hasn't been one that has disappointed us. It's always an adventure to see what's available when we go in. It's a serve yourself and then be rung up kind of place. Service has always been friendly. We haven't had their pizza, just the other baked goods. more

I love the Mediterranean salad with feta cheese 6/8/2011

I love this place and its yet another one of my secret feeding holes. I mean they have great Pizza and I have tried many of the specialty pizzas such as the aero or the godfather. However as usual I am not writing this review on the pizza at Big Mamas and Papas, I am writing the review on the sandwiches and salads...yummy. My favorite sandwich is the phili cheese steak sandwich with BBQ sauce and as a salad I love the Mediterranean salad with feta cheese. Something about the salty olives and sun dried tomatoes topped with the feta cheese that makes me go yummy. Again I am sure there are some crazy secret spots with the best of the best sandwiches and salads but do they deliver? and if so how much do they cost? I guess that's why this is another one of my favorite ordering spots. more

I like the place 6/7/2011

I like the place because .... 1. Not modern 2. Not a new 3. Not a high-end decor 4. Not pricy 5. Basic Italian cafe food 6. local small mom & pop cafe 7. Love after discovering the bar-style pizza triangle known as Cape Cod Cafe, Lynwood Cafe, and Town Spa Pizza, I knew I had to hit them all up in search for my favorite bar-style pizza in the area. On a serious note, this place might not make it without proper foot traffic. The location is not the best for visibility or smelling the roses, but it's super clean inside with ample room, nice d?cor, great wifi and the owner is a real accommodating fellow. I'd hate to see it not survive with some of the yummy menu options that are available and how nice the people are. more

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city 6/1/2011

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. It has a warm and cozy neighborhood vibe. Since they do not take reservations it can be a little bit of a wait but it is worth it because the food is consistently great. Complimentary bread is usually brought once seated and they bake a wonderful foccacia so try and get that if you can. Prices are OK. I definitely recommend it. more
