Sushi in Hayward 3/18/2006

Yes, there is a fun and good tasting place to eat in Hayward! I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. They have a HUGE menu of sushi rolls, cooked items, and sashimi. I love their rolls and their sashimi has very generous cuts of fish that are pretty fresh tasting. Good appetizers too- especially the tofu. The place is always packed on weekends so there may be a wait. more

Amazing Food 8/18/2005

I moved to the East Bay about 2 yrs ago and this has been my favorite Japanese restaurant ever since. Their food is amazing and their prices are not bad at all either. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who loves Japanese food. The ambien is also great and the service exceptional. more

SUSHI!!! 8/17/2005

Ray’s Sushi has a nice atmosphere that gives you a Japanese feel with the special tatami rooms. The food is also fresh and delicious. Beside sushi, they also have ramen, udon, sashimi and assorted Japanese cusine. The service is also pretty good. Although it may be expensive, I think it’s worth it. more

Rays sushi is one of the best sushi places here in Hayward. Although the prices are kinda harsh. the food is excellent. The chefs serve quality dishes, and you wont be dissapointed. just watch out for eating too much since it is so good. it will put a dent in your wallet just for some decent food. Rays sushi also has a feeling of home to it when your in there. just reminds you of family. more

Great Japanese Food 8/10/2005

So one day, my family and I decided to get some food to eat. Inopportunely for us, we were not sure on where to settle for that particular night. Who would have known we would stumble upon a great sushi house. This sushi house has fed my family quality sushi and other foods like the Udon or the Sizzling Platters of beef smothered in soy sauce. Top that off with a round of California Rolls and you have a great meal for the family. I highly recommend this place if you want good authentic sushi and other Japanese style foods. Oh yeah, their bento boxes are better than others I have eaten in the past. more
