Poshe Salon

I'm not sure who you Poshe salon is responding to. I wrote my comment a couple of days ago and you responded to it saying I had black hair and I had come back to have it fixed....sorry not me. I have dirty blond hair and I haven't come back since my visit. What are you talking about?? more

I am extremely unhappy with my hair After moving to the area and years of going to the same hair dresser, I needed to find a new hair dresser. I looked up hair salons in the area and found Poshe with stellar reviews. I like long hair--think Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton in the day, etc. I called the salon and they asked me who I wanted to see, I said someone who did long hair as I have long hair and wanted to keep it that way. They scheduled me for that day and I went in optimistic. I told the hair dresser what I wanted--basically the same hair cut I have now, which is grown out, just trimmed up a few inches. Straight in the back, angles and layers coming down from my face. I even mentioned lindsay lohan as a model for the type of hair cut I wanted. more

I came to see Kim after receiving the worst color job of my life at another salon. Not only did she fit me in right away, but she was very friendly and professional. Kim took me from ""orange and brassy"" to a beautiful, NATURAL, blonde/brown in two short hours. If she can do this well starting with a hair nightmare, I can only imagine how well she does with ""normal"" hair! I will definitely be back in a few weeks for a cut and color. The salon is clean and nice, and the staff are all very friendly. I look forward to returning to the salon, not only to see Kim for my hair, but also to check out their other services. So I was new to portland with my old salon and hairdresser being over 2 hours away I decided I needed to find someone and a place close to me home. Thanks to city search and the several recommendations for Poshe I decided to try it. It was not only very easy to get an appointment within hours and days - it was some of the best service I've had in a long time. Kim is now my permanent stylist and I highly recommend her. She not only knows how to color my hair perfectly, but does it with great knowledge, skill, and perfectly to how I wanted it. She has the best interest of the customer and the health and style that bests suits your hair! She is amazing. Make your appointment today! more

I walked into Poshe' Salon with little hope for my hair. I had just had the worst experience and gave Kim: Hair Designer/ Color Specialist little to work with. Kim made room for me even though I did not have an appointment and made me feel welcome. Kim did an excelent job with my hair!!! Poshe' Salon is very beautiful, elegant,hip, and perfect for all ages. Lilly cut my hair today and was VERY accomodating. Friendly, fun, love the cut.....then she did a total fluff and buff! Pedicure, wax, Fun, excellent experience~ I'm sure to be back and will bring friends with me. Pros: friendly, fun atmosphere Cons: wish it were closer to home more

I wanted to say WOW to having a great waxing experience! I travel for work full time and sometimes its very hard to find someone not only that will do a true brazilian, but without pain and quick! today that was my experience here at poshe! I've been going to Poshe for almost 2 years and have received the finest professional care one can expect. Lan has strived to understand my preferences and has always provided great care and genuine attention to detail with my manicures, fills, and pedicures. Additionally, she leaves me with tips on how to manage skin care, all of which have proven to be successful! It's such a joy to visit the shop since the owners and the rest of the staff are all so friendly - not just with their customers - but with each other, making it a warm and relaxing place to be! more

I finally found a salon that does my nails the way I like it! I came in on a drive by and I was given Kevin. He is wonderful, professional and fun! He helped me the first time fixing my ""surfboards"" that I had recieved from another salon. After my second visit with him, I am very happy. My fill lasted 3 weeks and still looked good! So I went to get my nails done a couple of days ago at the Poshe salon and everyone there was really courteous and friendly, and after I was done I was talking to a nail technician and she saw how long my hair was and I told her I had been planning on cutting it. So she told me that Tony does really good hair and that I should schedule an appointment to get my hair cut. I waited for a couple of days to make my final decision because I had had long hair for a year and I didn't want to get my haircut and have it be really short or have it be something that I didn't like. So I finally made my decision and I just went in and asked for Tony luckily he was able to fit my haircut into his schedule since it was a walk in because I was still a litle uneasy about cutting my hair after having it long for about a year. Tony made me feel really comfortable, he was really nice and he gave me an incredible haircut!!! I just want to say thank you Tony and I really did make a great decision on getting a hair cut because I don't miss my long hair at all. I will definitely be one of the regulars. more

I had a really bad experience at a beauty school when gettting my hair colored and desperatly needed it to be fixed so i went to Poshe salon because they have always been helpful and good at their jobs their. Kim G. helped me and was easily able to fix my hair and she did an amazing job. i recommend everyone try out this salon as they are great in every aspect. thanks more

Mahn, Kevin and Kim made my birthday present and fun, relaxing, and pizazzy experience! I have recommended it to many friends. They are very professional and extremely sanitary. Good about explaining what and why they were doing as they were. Beautiful smiles! Had a great time....I'll be back! Poshe was HIGHLY recommended to me by a friend. I've really been meaning to get my hair highlighted and today randomly thought I'd stop by and see what they could do for me. The gal was really friendly and was going to get me in tomorrow, but then said she had a 3:45 open. I came back at 3:45pm and was taken right away to a chair. I have no clue what the guy's name is that did my hair but he did a GREAT job! The highlights look awesome and he did some long layers in my hair [just as I asked!] he then straightened my hair for me and it looked great. I'll definitley be going back to them to get my hair done again, they were all very friendly and I had a good expirience overall! more

decided to try this salon based on the reviews and opinions posted here. What a mistake! First of all, I visited the website and read all the reviews and awards they had won. I was impressed and thought this would be a great salon. So, off I go for my first appointment and I arrived on time but when I checked in I waited over 20min!!!! Not a good start....When I finally saw the stylist he was in a ""grumpy"" mood and was totally rude!! I could not believe that! I understand we all have bad days but our mood can not be taken out on clients. I felt rushed, upset, and my whole salon experience was a big waste of time and money. I spent over a hunderd dollars and left there feeling my hair color was not what I really wanted or paid for. Also, I had taken in several pictures of the color I wanted and believe me it wasn't even close. I could have done better out of a box and saved myself alot of time and money! This is only my experience and I am sure many people may feel this is a great salon but I won't be back! Pros: Can't think of any Cons: customer service, prices, sorry but my stylist was rude more

Hi been going to Poshe for awhile, this was probally my 5th time visiting the salon today. I went and saw Tony, this was my 3rd time with him. He was great all times but today. I showed him how I wanted my hair, and said I wanted a two tone color highlight of reds. Well he colored it, and then cut. I knew right when he started to style it, that I was not happy with the cut. I wanted my hair short, but not to short. And I asked him to cut shorter, he said shorter isnt short enough? No it wasnt it. So he cut it shorter but still not short enough. This was the second time I asked the stylist to cut my hair short but they kind of refused. The first lady, Sheril said if I went to short I would look like a boy. But I wasnt asking for something far from a boys cut. I like a shorter aline cute, with the back being shorter than usual. But I did not recieve what I asked for. At the point of the end, my color was nice, pretty red than I would get but I like it. Its fun!! But still I am not 100% satisfied about my hair. I dont know what to do now. Do I go back and give them one more try or just find someone new?? The place is a great location for me, prices are great. So I am in a dilema because I know in 5-6 weeks I am going to need a trim, actually a CUT the way I want. Pros: Prices, Cons: Service, and not fully getting what you want. more
