Julie has been my hairdresser for the past three and one half years. When she moved to Poshe, of course I followed her. Julie always does a fantastic job with my cut, color, and highlights. She is always a joy to visit with. Julie always makes me feel my best when I walk out of the salon. My sister Celeste moved here last year and decide to come to Julie also, She is as pleased as I am. This was my first experience at Poshe. A friend of mine at work recommended I try them out. I had a problem with my appointment because I was on my motorcycle and lost track of time. I called them 15 minutes before my appointment asking them if they could wait an hour for me and to my surprise, they said ...'no problem....we can take you an hour later...: How often does that happen and on a Saturday! I arrived in time to grab a burger at this great cafe next door (which I highly recommend). Anyway - the group here is a riot to watch. They should be on TV. They do nails, toes, hair, lashes and much more...While I was there, I observed a wide range of customers including one who brought her 4 year old daughter in to have her hair chemically treated and straightened. She was not nice to her adorable daughter and made her feel 2nd rate because of her hair...actually the child could have been a model; gorgeous; and, she had beautiful hair. The child started crying because the chemicals hurt and the hairdresser told the customer she needed to leave because she was not going to continue she would not continue to hurt her. I had the best cut, color and highlight I've ever had and I will certainly recommend them to everyone I know. I absolutely love Poshe Salon... especially my hairstylist, Julie Pham!! She gives me a great cut every time, perfect for my hair type. Every stylist there is great, though- everyone leaves the salon with a great cut and color. I would reccommend Poshe to anyone! more

I have been going for a mani/pedi every 3 weeks for the last several months and always request Lauren. She does the best job of making my hands and feet look and feel fantastic! I am brutal on my hands & feet and she always makes them look wonderful. I appreciate how warm and friendly she is and that I'm never made to feel like she's in a hurry to push me through in order to get to her next client. When we moved from California to Hillsboro last year, I was dreading having to find a new hair salon. I tried several places but then one day I called Poshe' Salon. I was lucky enough to be schedled with Kathy. She is awesome. I don't do color but she does a GREAT perm and hair cut! My elderly mother who lives with us always liked my haircuts so now she also goes to KATHY. I had a hairdresser that I really loved in Napa but am now really happy with the job Kathy does. more

I never write a comment for a business before, but feel like to write this time for Poshe salon. My family and I have been in the salon for more than a year, have to admit this, we always receive a good service from color to hair cut, my wife does enjoy Poshe?s nail services too. It is interesting for me to read quite a few very disappointing comments recently, I guess Poshe does make mistake sometimes, We are just lucky one for not experiencing it. There was one night, I arrived in the salon as walk-in, 30 minutes late after business hour, one stylist was about going home, not any other stylist left, I didn?t expect to be served at that time, but surprisingly, that stylist was willing to stay late for cutting my hair. I don?t think my 14 bucks hair cut as her motivation, but it is her devotion to serve customer. I very much admire for that kind of customer service. I want to say this, Poshe, does not discourage by negative comments, instead, learn from mistake, fix the problem if needed (well, we all have problem anyway!), and keep up your excellent customer service. I think I am not alone among customers, who praise for their effort to serve quality services at affordable price for our community. more

I felt like a King. Lauren and Kelsey made me feel like I was the most important person in the Salon. I loved the Asian flare of the hand, arm, foot and leg massage portion of my manicure and pedicure . The sights and sounds made me feel like I was in Southesat Asia again. So many times I have had my hair messed up until I found Poshe Salon. I have had a few stylists there cut my hair and they have all been great. I go to Sheril on a regular basis now, but I know that if she?s not available I can rely on just about anybody else there. What I like about Sheril is that she is a perfectionist and takes her time because I am very picky about my hair, so that works out well for the both of us. This salon is the place to go. I moved from New York almost 3 years ago, the first 6 months I kept looking for a hairdresser can cut and understand clearly what I want. One day my sister in law came home with a new hair cut, it spot me right away because it looked totaly different with what she used to have. The next day I made a trip and choose Lily ( the owner) . What I want for my hair is very simple: Pretty short in the back and long in the front with a slick angle and I never have it till that day . Thanks Lily ! Thanks God! Thanks Portland! I like their professionalism. I am not an easy going customer but they always listen to my request very carefully and get my hair done exactly what I want. Specially Lily is one of the best hair stylist that I ever known. They are also very friendly. My wife also love this place. I have been coming here for a year and I will never come to other place. more

Having read all the positive reviews of this salon, I thought I'd give it a try. I went for a perm which I was very nervous about. I was assured that the stylist had a lot of experience when I relayed my concerns about my hair being thick and virtually impossible to style. The perm was set and the result was that which makes my description sounds like an exaggeration. The curls were inconsistent -- loose on the left side of my head and tight on the right. Worse upon that is that the curls were only on the lower half of my hair! Pros: Ample parking. Cons: Bad bad results! more

I have gone to Poshe since the first week it opened. I used to love going there, but in the past year the place has gone to hell. One of the girls has given me an ingrown toenail three times over the years. I refuse to let any of their stylists touch my hair ever again as I have yet to get a decent cut from the 3 or 4 different stylists who've cut my hair. And while Kevin often did a better job more often than not, there were enough times when I cursed the results within a week of seeing him to make me not want to return again. The last time I was in, he was too busy to get to my SCHEDULED appointment (because he's often overbooked, it seems) so I was handed over to the single most incompetent nail tech I've ever experienced. It looked bad when I left and lifted from the edges the next day. I am appalled that the tools aren't cleaned between customers and I know this for a fact because I've sat there and watched one customer leave and another sit down with nothing more done than the table blown clean with air. I'm sure the owners will respond to this review, with their insipid mewling, but I don't care. I won't be back and I urge others to stay away from having nails done there. Kevin's questionable talent isn't worth the risk of infection spread from their disgusting tools. And to the owners: if you want to at least appear professional, I would suggest that you not allow your employees to speak their native language(s) in front of the clients. It's rude and makes us feel as though you are talking about us, whether or not you are. And one more thing, I find it rude and annoying that Kevin plays online video games on his laptop while I'm sitting there. more

I love my stylist in chinatown, but was looking for a salon that was closer to home and a friend recommended poshe. There were warning signs from the moment I sat in the chair.... one of the stylists was whining and pestering a male stylist to let her do his hair the next chair over. Apparently she was bored and had nothing better to do. Not only was this annoying to watch and listen to, but then my stylist decided to join in- reaching over and ruffling his hair, insisting that she get a turn next time, etc.. All this while she has a client sitting in her chair, waiting... ME! I thought the stylists' behavior was very unprofessional, and I should have left right then. more

I have always been very particular about my hair. I have curly hair, and most stylists have a hard time cutting it so that it is easy to style and looks good all the time. Then along comes RACHEL at Poshe. She is absolutely wonderful. She has a great eye for color and style, and every single time she has cut my hair, it's fallen exactly like I want it to and looked great. And she has also found new styles for me that I would never have guessed I would like, but ended up loving immediately. She treats everyone like family. I trust her totally. Also, let me mention KEVIN, who has done my solar nails twice now. He does a fantastic job (and has a great sense of humor!). Overall experience has been wonderful, and I have recommended them to all my friends and family. Pros: Great value, friendly atmosphere, and excellent results every time. I used to color my hair at home and it looked ok. Sheril told me that she could color my hair, but she never pressured me. For a while I just had her trim my hair every time, but then I wanted something new, so I decided to try having her do my color as well. I never knew my hair could look this great until I had Sheril color it. My hair was transformed into exactly what I never knew I wanted until I saw it on my own head. I went from ok to fabulous and I will never go back to doing my own hair. She has also done my entire family and always does a great job. My son likes the funky cuts and my daughter likes the crazy, bright colors. No matter what you want, she will make it happen for you. Sheril has only been working on Saturdays for a while since she had her baby, but she just told me she?ll be working on Thursday and Friday also. Owners of this beautiful salon care about the health of their customers and employees. the salon has an Ecoquest Air Purifier that cleans the air. They were always accomdating with my busy schedules. I had very pleasant experience with 3 different nail techs/artists and all of them provided excellent nail care services. Lily Le is an excellent hair stylist. I've been looking for a new hair stylist for a while now since my regular went on maternity leave and isn't coming back. I heard about Sheril, but I was completely nervous going to somebody new because I've had my other stylist for so long. Sheril was absolutely wonderful in every way. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel at ease. My hair came out better than I could have imagined and I loooovee it!!! She highlighted my hair to get rid of my awful roots and gave me the perfect layers so I can either flat iron or scrunch my hair to wear it curly. The only thing is that I didn't realize how far the salon was away from where I live, but now I definitely think it's worth the hour drive. I would recommend Poshe to everybody and ask for Sheril. I've been going to Poshe for a while now. I'm very hard on my nails and Kevin's nails that he puts on always last and look beautiful when he's done. I always go in having abused them, then come back out with beautiful happy nails! In addition, my schedule is very hectic, I typically call in very last minute and they fit me in every time! more

I have been going to Poshe for several years. I can't be more happy for Lan, who is gone on maternity leave, but my nails look horrible. I decided to try Kevin in Lan's absence and I was disappointed to say the least. He filed them down so fast, my nail beds were literally burning. He made them too thin and the day after my fill in, I had one break. I managed to file it down, as to avoid coming back in for a repair. Let me also mention that I have never had one break with Lan, never. Then, to make matters worse, I had another break two days ago and it has just now been two weeks. The break was so severe, the acrylic cracked in half and I had to peel the rest of it off. I am so disappointed that I have to find another salon to get my nails done until Lan comes back. Kathy had colored my hair in the past and done a great job, but this time I wanted something different. I had an image in my head and described to her what I wanted. I didn't even know if she could do it. She understood just what I wanted and came up with an idea to make it a possibility. The end result was exactly what I had pictured in my minds eye. Then to make it even better, she gave me a great cut too! more
