This place has definately gone downhill 4/4/2006

When Porto Bello first opened I thought that the food was excellent. Seems like I wasn't the only one since the place was always jammed packed with patrons. The last two times that I bought take out food I thought that it wasn't as good. The portions definately got smaller and it seemed like I had to wait forever to get my meal. I wouldn't recommend eating here as it is very crowded and noisy. The tables are so close together you can actually hear the other customers conversations! The pizza is great though, baked in a stone oven but I would suggest that you get it to go. more

A bit noisy 4/3/2006

We've gone to Porto Bello for a few years now and they seemed to have changed chefs because the food was great and is now fair/good. The prices are competitive..not expensive, but not cheap either. The atmosphere is ok..don't plan on having a quiet night with conversation here..the acoutics make this restaurant one of the more difficult ones to have a quiet conversation in. I recommend sitting outside on a nice summer day...view is of a parking lot, but at least you can have an actual conversation. more
