Katy and others- before you comment on how the Russians don't speak "good" (well), maybe you should first understand they were born in Russia and this is their SECOND language and then realize that this is your FIRST language (and only I'm sure) and you still can't even type grammatically-correct sentences with correctly-spelled words. I don't even make comments on these websites but I was skimming these reviews and, although I'm sure the waiters are frustrating since there's a language barrier and I'm sure the service isn't that great, this still bothered me. FYI Sunny Isles is filled with Russians; go somewhere else! more

Waitress was from Kazakhstan and never heard of Bombay Saphire and tonic. Food was good but portions were small and maybe not the best cut of meat. \r Atmosphere was good. more

I went there few days a go... Me n my friend were really tired and wanted to relax a bit... The waitress had terrible attitude, she couldn't speak English good as she said she is Bulgarian... I've been waiting her to take my order more than 30 min and the place was not busy at all... It took her more than 20 to bring me a glass of wine n more than 30 for a salad.. But it's not the worst part... When I paid I didn't left her a tip, as I really think she doesn't deserve it... I couldn't believe that she came to me with a cheack n said "the is not there" "I said excuse me?" she repeated : "you forgot to tip me out!" A good advice to management make sure your servers don't act like this! I will never again go there!!!! Terrible lace!!!! more

I HOPE Juan GETS HIT BY A CAR this place is NO GOOD . The owner Jaun Is the biggest DICK I have ever seen. I went to this place and the bartender : "russian girl skinny with black hair name starts with a M and she look like she is on drugs herself" anyway I went here and she owed me another drink for my happy hour special. She stated to me that i could not get it so i told he just GIVE ME MY CHECK and let me pay. She gets mad and go get JAUN The owner or manager or whatever he is with his drunk ass and he asked me was there a problem. I said no no problem just Want to pay my bill and go. He Tells Me " IT BETTER NOT BE NO PROBLEM>>> What kind of bullshit is this????? what happen to customer service! so i deiced not to leave no tip? he comes back out and tells me not to come back there because i did not tip!! SERIOUSLY!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! Horrible service,attitude,no knowledge of drinks and terrible music. This is a place for tourists who don't know any better. The waitresses are nothing more than RUSSIAN HOOKERS!!!! The manager if you want to call him that is nothing more than a FAKE RUSSIAN PIMP!!! DO NOT GO THERE , i get a crack on all the neg reviews. besides the usual bad service and pimp like manager. I had to live a racist experience. On karaoke night I chose La Bamba , an all american hit. To my surprise management had taken all songs from the list that had spanish words. A worker told me the order came from management. If you are not russian do not go there. more

Bad service, discriminatory practices. Manager refused service, and refused to speak with us. We were the only minority patrons. Managers answer was to call sunny isles police! This was after we overlooked to bad service our first visit here, and the hair in our food. more

We had drinks here last night. It was alright. The music was too loud (had to scream at my friend in an attempt to have a conversation), the AC was off and it was pretty warm, and the service was so-so at best, but it was a nice atmosphere and our drinks were good. They're open until 5 or 6 in the morning, so I will probably be back. more

Last night my friends and I were sitting at the Porterhouse enjoying our chat. We started the night with terrible waitress. She brought us the drinks and left. We asked for some water that never came to the table so my friend went to the bar and got it for all of us. After that we wanted to order some food but no waitress on the floor. After about 30 minutes she came outside but she completely ignored us. One of us had to run after her to order some food. She did not ask us if we like it or not or if everything was ok or if we need something else. At the end of the night we have received the check with %18 included but written by the hand. My friend asked for the manager in order to cancel the tip because of the terrible service. The owner did not even come to our table to talk to us about the problem but he called the police. Yes "THE POLICE". After 5 minutes police came but not one, 3 police cars and K9. Are we criminals? One of police officers said: "In the menu says that you have to pay %18 for the tip." I guess no matter if you like the service or not you have to pay (but that did not say… hahaha). So, we started talking to the police however they only listen to us and again repeated "you have to pay". Everyone around us was laughing because no one could believe that police came because of the %18 tip. Is this real?!?!?! Surrounded by "Christmas lights" we paid and left the restaurant. I will never again go back to this place. While we were leaving the owner tapped one of the police officer. I guess he paid them good to do this kind of job. I can only say one thing: "Russian mafia". With money you can have everything you want. I have never been treated like this ever ever ever before in my life. So please people think before you step into this restaurant "The Porterhouse" because you might get into lots of trouble. more

I was there this past week and I was approached by a bald guy who portors to be a manager at the entrance who asked me how much money we planned to spend before being seated? I was like WTF? I asked to speak to the manager and he told me he was the manager. His name was Juan. I wish I could find the owner of that place to tell him/her how the place is being managed! What a joke! more
