I'm sorry but I don't get why people like this place. Ths sawdust on the floor...the whole vibe is weird. I picked up a pizza to go and when I got home and opened it, I said out ...

This place has become one of my favorite dining spots in LA, the food and the wine list are a perfect match. Pros: null Cons: null more

looks awesome 8/1/2011

Some places you walk into and it doesnt seem too appetizing. Straight from the pictures you start to drool from this place. Real authentic feel to it, good prices too. more

not recommended 7/15/2011

Not the greatest Italian Restauran at all! I will most likely not go back to that place unless I have to. The pizza is the only thing I was able to eat there. more

Dsiappointing 7/5/2011

I went to the Pizza Cookery with such high expectations and came back disappointed. The only thing I enjoyed was the bread. My family and I came back home hungry! more

I Don't Care If I Get FAT!!! 12/1/2010

I've been going here for years. Large Cheese Pizza and Antipasto Salad and about half a pound of their butter with the garlic rolls and then bounce me into bed, I'm done! I can't shove the pizza down my throat fast enough. It's awesome. This is one of those meals I eat alone so noone can see that I really eat like a wild beast. If you're panning Pizza Cookery, you just don't get it. more

so good! 1/26/2010

I love this place! My kids love it too! They have the best rolls that you get with any order. My kids love the saw dust on the floor! They are always asking to go there when we are in the area. more

Yum! 1/25/2009

We love The Pizza Cookery in Woodland Hills. The pizza is scrumptious, the salads are huge and the garlic rolls are the best. This is the original not to be confused with restaurant in Encino. Very kid friendly- more

Great pizza 1/25/2009

Delicious pizza, salad and rolls. Service is good. Ambiance is interesting (saw dust all over the floor is a bit messy with kids) but the food is delicious. more

HOLY CRAP! 11/28/2008

I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE. The bread they serve is delish!! The pizza is even better! I highly recommend the meat lover's pizza or the spaghetti with meatballs. The price is not bad at all! If you're in the mood for pizza that's not from Domino's or Pizza Hut, check this place out. Also, if you're in Granada Hills, check out the Pizza Cookery on Balboa and Devonshire (Next to Asahi Sushi)! more

Great Family Pizza Restaurant 11/21/2008

Been going here my whole life (30+ years) -- very hard to beat the pizza, though judging by the other reviews, you either love it or hate it. Great for coming in to eat, or ordering out, and the beer pitchers are a nice treat if you're there with some friends and live nearby. Service is nice, and it's a family-run establishment. Pros: Great pizza, beer, salads Cons: A little pricey, but worth it more

Pizza Cookery 9/8/2008

The pizza Cookery has great pizza and great salads. Their bread is to die for! When I go with a friend we can easily split a salad, and have the bread and be full. I have been coming here for years! more

Huge Portions Great Rolls 9/6/2008

I've been a customer of this owner operated rustic Italian restaurant for years. Their salad are very large (even the small size) and full of fresh ingredients. I love the minestrone soup, but the family favorite is the fresh hot garlic cheese rolls. We always stop for lunch when we shop at Topanga Plaza. more

Very kid friendly. Good price. Wouldn't really recommend it for a quiet nice dinner though. more

Fun little eatery 6/2/2008

We love to go to this friendly little restaurant. The garlic rolls are absolutely delicious (usually, sometimes they are overcooked). The house salad with blue cheese, while simple, is very fresh and tasty, and deceptively large. Mostly we get full just eating these. You can get some pasta too for not much additional money, but the salad and the rolls are the best part. more
