Best

Per our vacation, my wife and I both came here. (She is a regular, the wife), I am not a "spa" type of a man, however I have got to say this place is well done. I have had a ba...

I had a decent experience at this spa. The facialist did a good job and was very nice letting me relax during my appt. but I felt really claustrophobic during the session. It wa...

Ridiculously AMAZING 9/7/2011

Alright, I'm a dude, and I get pedicure's, only because I can't really reach my feet comfortably, but with that being said, I like going to Pelage Spa because they do such a good job cutting my toe nails, and the foot massages are ridiculously amazing! I recommend trying them out, even if you are a guy! more

Love this Spa 9/7/2011

I love getting my toes and nails done at the Pelage Spa. Everyone does such a great job. I die for the foot massage when I get my pedicure. more

Nice & Helpful 9/1/2011

Meghan was very nice and helpful with answering my questions. Great service. I will be back, and recommend this spa to my girls. Thank you. more

Relaxing & Friendly 8/24/2011

My toes and nails always look so beautiful. I love to come here. And everyone is so friendly, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. more

Massage Therapy 8/16/2011

I've come in for a couple of massage after a big deadline, the staff is pretty friendly and the masseuse has pretty soft hands. more

Pampering 8/12/2011

The staff here is amazing, every time I walk in they always impress me with their friendliness and upbeat attitude. It's always fun coming here to get a little pampering. more

Usual 8/9/2011

I've been coming in every 6 weeks or so for my usual wax for about 2 years now. I've never been disappointed with anything. I'm always greeted with a smile and warm welcomes, the techs are always gentle and know exactly what they are doing. I'm very impressed with the staff. Don't hesitate to come. more

Great Service and Consistent! 3/2/2011

This is a true gem of Issaquah, hidden in Gilman Village! more

Worst Pedicure EVER! 12/9/2010

If I could have given them zero stars, I would have! I received a gift certificate for my birthday and was excited to get a pedicure. I've had pedicures many times both at the $20 and high end salons and for the price that I paid, I got less than even the inexpensive salons. The gal was not interested in what I wanted or making it a pleasant experience and rushed through the pedicure. The polish job was so bad, I went home and redid it. I asked her to fix the polish several times but she "just wasn't intersted" so it got worse and worse. When I went to the front to pay I mentioned that she didn't even allow me time to let my toes dry and I was told to "go over there" where the receptionist pointed to rudely. As I recall it cost about $45 for the pedicaure and I left the remaining $5 of the gift certificate for a tip as I didn't plan to ever come back or refer anyone here. I wish I had thrown it away but I didn't think of that at the time. The only thing that was good was the cookie that was set by me. Spend your good earned dollars elsewhere, someplace that appreciates you and does a good job. more

knowledge 11/21/2010

I recently went in to have a hydrafacial and was very pleased. I had bought it off of groupon and was at first, a little skeptical because of some of the reviews but came to find that I found it to be very different. Its a different atmosphere than most spas. Its comfortable. The lady that did my facial was very knowledgeable and explained step by step what she was doing. I didn't feel "rushed" or pressured to buy "over-priced" product. It was actually an exciting, educating experience. more

Not Reccommended 5/6/2010

Pelage is not the place to go! The staff is appalling and the atmosphere is just over crowded and unpleasant. I was there a few months back and a lady, who i assume to be the owner, was screaming at one of her employees. The entire time during my facial I could hear talking. It was not the experience I had anticipated. more

Awful Experience 5/5/2010

Pelage is the worst place if you are looking to get your money's worth. They seem more interested in selling you over-priced products than providing a beneficial experience. Pros: NONE more

Wonderful Experience 7/9/2009

I have really enjoyed my experiences at the spa as well as the results I have had both with my skin and laser hair removal. I highly recommend this place Pros: Variety of Services, Nice Staff Cons: None so far more

My wife loves this place! 5/4/2009

My wife doesn't write reviews, so I said I'd be her mouthpiece. She absolutely loves this place, very attentive staff and relaxing environment. Pros: Great service, experienced med-spa Cons: not sure more

Not a Spa, Not Relaxing, Not Recommended 3/28/2009

This place is pure chaos, with a very junior staff and no good organization. The mix of products and services is jumbled without any cohesion to logic, at least that I could discern. This made for a very oddball experience that wasn't cheap by any means. And watch out for the owner ... in spite of her "clinical" appearance, don't look to her for alleviating any customer service aches or pains you might have. I had heard mixed reviews, and I thoroughly concur with the other recent review ... I will spend my time and money somewhere that offers better quality and services, along with an accurate representation of what they provide and quality products that don't seem like they came from a multi-level marketing catalog. Pros: Local Cons: Chaotic, unfriendly/unwelcoming, odd mix of services more

Spa 11/15/2008

My experiences with Pelage has always been fantastic no matter which masseuse I get. I leave feeling fantastic. I have often recommended this spa to many of my friends. more

Best Services I have had 10/18/2008

I continuew to be an enthusisastic supporter of this business. I went in to Pelage for some more services this weeek and was pleased to see a brand new brochure with updated prices and some GREAT deals on packages. I have read other reviews on CItySearch that have complained about confusion on prices and packages, so I see these new brochurees as a proactive way of clearing up that confusion. (although I have never had that problem). I also have a friend who is having the SOMA (some sort of deep tissue massage) and is LOVING it. My friend claims to be seeing near real-time results and is very enthusiastic about finishing the program. I am thinking about trying it myself. more

Pamper Yourself 10/14/2008

I have really enjoyed all the pampering spa treatments I have received at Pelage. I also like the skin care products I have purchased there. The staff is knowledgeable and the environment is relaxing. more

Good but not Great Spa 5/8/2008

I purchased the Pelage Beauty Card (for $150.00) in late 2007. The card includes 15 brow treatments (priced at $15.00 per treatment), 10% off of all other services and 15% off all products. I found this to be a great deal. However, upon my last visit (in April), my technician indicated that my Beauty Card only included 12 brown treatments. Either I was misinformed, or my waxer was uninformed. more

Pelage isn't the place to go. 4/29/2008

Pelage is TRULY the worst place ever. I won't even call it a spa. They dare to call it a spa yet it is the most un-spa place I have ever seen. They seem more interested in selling you over-priced hand lotion and jewelry in their lobby than providing a relaxing "spa" experience. Cons: poor value, bad atmosphere, disreputable owner more
