Pavilion Towers

After the place finally finished with the construction or upgrades to the complex, which took ungodly amount of time and had construction workers leering in your apartment from the bolcony and window. You also had construction workers, inspections, and who the hell else knows what going on when they felt. I found that I had my personal tools(valued at $750), 2 silver dollars (valued about $400, left tome by my grandfather in his will), 2 lamps stolen (of the 2 lamps one was a replica of the leg lamp in A Christmas Carol, valued about $100), in turn I lost about $1,275 in monetary valuables and a couple sentimental (in the 2 silver dollars). Apparently while all this was going on, someone still had a key to my place, because somebody used it to unlocked my door and began to enter it last night, didn't get far, but still.... Pros: Having a hard time coming up with one! Cons: To many to list! more

The location is great, but rent is too high considering the noisey construction (which has been ongoing for the last two years). Scaffolding and remnants of construction materials have been outside of the newly renovated apartment for months. Noisey machinery and construction workers are heard all thoughout the day, so this apartment complex is not child/baby friendly. There's also a noisy band that practices in a garage area.The lobby areas of the buildings have a stinch (kind of like a old hotel). The inside of the apartments are nice if you aren't planning on living in them long. One good thing is that during the night it is relatively quiet (don't hear neighbors walking around or talking that loud above or below you). The Pavilion Towers is a terrible place to live. The staff is very helpful until you sign, then they no longer care. They act like you are inconveniencing them by living here. The construction is never-ending (4 years on what im am told should have been a six month project). There is nothing like walking into your room being stared at by a construction worker, working on your 7th floor window. This place is over all and extreme letdown... And the hallways always smell bad. Please find somewhere else to stay, I guarantee you will be happier than here. Pavilion towers is by far the worst place i have ever lived. Construction has been going on for at least 2 1/2 years on one building and they havnt even touched the other three. The staff is also rude when you ask about the situation, there is never anyone in the office, they are slow to fix things in the apartment (if they ever do), The hallways smell bad, it is just and all around disspointment. Everyone i have talked to that lives hear has the same opinion that i have. I just hope i can save at least one person the money and trouble of staying at this weak excuse for an apartment complex. This apartment complex is horrible. The office is never staffed. They do not show up when they are supposed to... they leave times on the door that they will be in the office... but don't show up. They have no concern for people that work third shift. There have been so many times this year (2007) that the fire department has been here... for flooding and God knows what else. They enter apartments without warning... not caring if you are in the bedroom sleeping. The parking situation is disgusting. There are not enough spaces in front of the building. They do not enforce decal requirements. There have been numerous incidents in the parking lot with attempted assault and thefts. The gate barely ever works... but even if it is working is always kept open. The people that live here are not friendly and *ghett0... fighting in the halls, alcohol and urine in the elevator. The maintenance man smokes in our non-smoking building. There has been construction going on in front of the 1000 building for years... but there is no construction... just unsightly equipment that is dangerous and inconvenient. I do not recommend living here... it is the worst. I am glad we are moving at the end of this month.
