If you are looking for some Asian ingredients for your cooking, especially Filipino, then Pacific Oriental Market is the place to shop in Antioch. They have a large selection and even a small produce section. They also sell cooked Filipino food and can cater. Their cooked food is very good however, if you are just dropping by, you are limited to what they have prepared that day. They don't sell lechon (roasted whole pig) though but they can refer you to someone who specializes in lechon and can deliver one to your home. We ordered one once and the lechon turned out wonderful. more

Pacific Oriental Market 9/6/2005

My sister and i often shop at the Pacific Oriental Market to buy filipino food as well as other asian food products. They have alot of parking available in front of their store. It is a small store but they carry alot of food products. We often go here to buy cooked food to take home with us from the back when we're too lazy or too tired cook at home. more

A Little Corner of the Philippines 8/5/2005

This is a little asian grocery store selling Filipino food products. They have four isles of food products and a frozen section. It's the place to go to buy that certain asian ingredient that stores like Albertson's or Safeway don't carry. They also sell some fresh fish and fresh produce. The isles are narrow and they only have maybe 5 grocery carts available for use. Toward the back of the store they have a kitchen from where one can buy ready cooked filipino food to go. This kitchen also caters so one can order trays of food ahead of time for parties. The food is decent filpino food but not exceptional. more
