Lots of upgrades 1/9/2010

They are open 7 days a week now and have added new animals and landscaping. We enjoyed the African Unimog Safari that runs at 11:00 am. We rode in the jeep with a very professional tour. She was able to answer any questions we had. Enjoyed the tram ride and again learned lots of stories about the park. We used the Arizona pricing and were able to do the full park for $28 per adult. The shows were fun and we will be back again and again. more

Great place to take the kids! 8/27/2005

Out of Africa has moved up to Camp Verde and they have alot more land! It is a great place to take the kids-they get to feed giraffes and take a safari ride through the park to see zebras, antelope, lions, tigers, and bears...Oh MY! We are supposed to have a baby zebra born in October, and they had a baby tiger when we were there! They are still building restrooms, a snack bar etc so it is a bit "rustic", but bring your own snacks and you are all set! They do have port-a-potties, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! more

Get Wild with the Tigers. 8/18/2005

For a great way to learn about the more exotic and Wild Animals check out Out of Africa. The owners of this Unique park are very involved in learning how animals act in natural environments and how they behave. Our favorite was Saginaw a Siberian Tiger who loves to Suck his owners thumb but don't get me wrong he is still a wild cat as they demonstrate in in of their shows. Another Great show is the Tiger splash where they have Tigers splashing in after Toys and live "prey". The handlers in the water love to play with the big cats and I think the cats like to play also. A new addition to their park since the move is the Unimog Safaris where you can get up and close with the Giraffes. more
