OLYMPUS IN LYNNWOOD ROCKS !!!!!!! 1/7/2012

I have been going to Olympus, first the one in Tacoma and now the one in Lynnwood since they opened. It is the best spa I have ever been to including the expensive ones in Las Vegas ! They are the Best value and cleanest and best food of any of them! I read another review about Deborah and I am shocked! She has been the manager for years and is the nicest ,warmest person ever!! Clearly this person was having a bad day! Deborah is always professional and super hard working... She has a hard job and maybe this person really doesnt know what she is dealing with ... I think she is jumping to some wrong conclusions! I have been to Olympus HUNDREDS of times and have always been treated kindly and generously ... I am in the beauty business as well and truly understand how difficult it must be to run this huge place! OLYMPUS ROCKS!! go yourself and check it out !! you will be very glad you did!! more

not too shabby for a day spa 1/7/2012

So, I've been hearing all sorts of things about this spa including the free entry on your birthday, and I decided to wait for my birthday to check out the place out and save myself $35. I had a little hard time finding the spa and got a little lost along the way, but shortly found my way after calling for directions. As soon as I got there, I walked in and saw it was a little busy in the lobby area. I waited to check in and as I was waiting, one of the receptionist or maybe she was the manager (she was a little older with a heavy accent than the girls in the front) asked if anybody was there for the first time. I raised my hand letting them know that I was there for the first time and she told me that they would take me on a tour of the spa since they were taking other ladies. Being a little confused, she told me to take my shoes off, and as I did I followed the lady along with other two ladies that were there for the first time. She had a strong accent, but it didn't stop me from understanding her and through out the tour, I found her very kind and even humorous and comfortable like i made the right choice in going in the first place. Although I didn't catch her name, I felt very at ease and even ended up signing up for a service. She was very helpful and made my first experience at the spa wonderful! I'm looking forward to my next trip at the korean day spa! more

DEBORAH THE KOREAN GIRL IS THE CRAZIEST PERSON I MET 12/29/2011

I came in and this lady gave me a tour...I couldnt understand what she was saying the whole time...She was extremely rude to me when i would ask questions...She came in yelling in the pool area for people to be quiet...After my experience i had asked to speak the a manager and she claimed she was the manager....One of the receptionists was fighting with her while i was in the waiting room area as Deborah kept yelling at her and the gal was crying.Overall PSYCHO experience. DO NOT GO HERE! more

lotion to die for 8/11/2011

I have loved Olympus spa and have had great scrubs!!!!!!! and wraps!!!!! But this last time, after I had gotten quite relaxed with a scrub early in the day and the a facial later at 4 pm. I started feeling not myself. I had appointment to get to, but was able to get to my firends house before the appointment and take a showertp get the creams off myself because I felt so bad. I felt like someone had beat me up and my skin was on fire. I took 2 Benadryl and still had a raging headache which I had not had before. I was in for the night crying and did not make my appointment. The facial had put more than 7 different creams on me. I don't know which one could of given me such a reaction. I even had welts on my scalp where lotion was rubbed in. The next day I contacted the manager of Olympus and she was only able to say she was sorry that this happened. It ruined my appointment, made me not feel relaxed, and scared me and my friends due to this disapointing/scary relaxing day I had come for. more

No matter how great the facility employee attitude sets the 2/4/2011

Clean, attractive facility with unique features such as the heat therapy rooms. Wish it was swimsuit optional. Personal interaction as well as observation revealed that overall employee attitude is that they do not care if you had a good experience or not. (Beginning at the front desk where they can ignore you when you are standing directly in front of them) . Disgruntled vibe and plenty of frowns on staff. Maybe the employees could take a break in the charcoal room and then watch a video on how to smile. more

Great spa for men 12/11/2009

I went here kind of on a lark, and they had great rates, $20 for a day of lounging around in the baths, swimming and unwinding. I didn't actually get a massage, but I heard that was nice. Pros: Relaxing, almost turkish bath style place, cheap! more

Love the spa ~ but if service poor walk out! 9/19/2009

One tip for Olympus clients ? if your service is sub-par WALK OUT, talking with a manager after will do nothing to correct the issue. Pros: baths, quiet, relaxing, Cons: manager, inconsistent massage quality more

The best spa yet 7/19/2008

I booked the signature facial for my first time at the spa. I was a little uneasy about the no bathing suit rule for the therapeutic pools so I thought I'd try a facial for my first time. Once I got there I got a tour of the spa and immediately wished I had booked more services. The atmosphere was professional and the lack of clothing was not a problem. My facial was fantastic, the products used smelled wonderful and my skin felt great. The facial also included a hand, foot, and scalp massage. The only downside was that I wanted to purchase some of these products on my way out and there was not a good selection available for purchase. Aside from that minor issue I can't wait to go back! Pros: Therapeutic and relaxing, ample parking, friendly staff Cons: Availability of product for purchase at home was limited more

Unwind at the Olympus Spa 4/8/2008

My skin has never felt so soft as it did after the Body Scrub and Body Moisturizing Treatment. My teaching partner and I went to unwind and boy did we. Leave enough time to soak for an hour before any treatment, use the hot rooms (love the Hot Jade room) and eat at the yummy bistro. more

Great Women's Spa 3/24/2007

I love Olympus and have been going for years now. The facility is always clean and nice. I love the korean style body scrubs. Do the scrub ladies have to be so grouchy? They come out yelling for your number which is hard to hear from all the tubs going, women chatting, and plus how BIG the space is--- this time when my woman found me and I raised my hand, she rolled her eyes like she had been looking for me for HOURS. I could do without the attitude, I wasn't late to my service. The restaurant is always good and I want to try the tea ceremony class, too. Also, the cheap lockers need to be replaced. Mine broke, the whole lock system came out of the locker. Pros: ample parking, large, clean space, fun alone or with friends, restaurant Cons: scrub lady w/ an attitude, flimsy lockers more

Great place to unwind! 2/19/2007

I've been going to Olympus Spa for years and am so glad that the Lynnwood location opened! It's larger, cleaner, and much nicer than the other location. I appreciate that everything is clean and tidy. The only downside that I've found is that the locker rooms are too congested on busy days. They pack about 25-30 lockers in a tiny u-shaped area, and if four of you are in there dressing, it's crowded. The restaurant is great, the reading room is awesome, and I even had a nail service there. I tell all my friends/ clients to come here. If you haven't heard of Olympus by now, you're behind the times! Pros: Large, new, clean Cons: Crowded locker rooms, closed sundays more

Relaxing spa experience 9/27/2006

Years ago, I went to the Tacoma location and thought it was an ok experience. Lynnwood Olympus has much more of an upscale spa feel. It seems cleaner, better organized and much more relaxing. I indulged in an amazing salt scrub with Julie and was cleansed from head to toe with aplomb. After, I soaked and enjoyed the different warm rooms, leaving soft, relaxed and refreshed. It was wonderful. Pros: Reasonable prices, great services, late appointments Cons: Can't think of any more
